LOGISTIC MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Daily Follow up of each truck in GPS Tracking System and Transportation status and exception case
- Working and Supervise of Drivers team assign and Management
- Controlling Transportation emergency (Damage / accident) Management
- To arrange all the papers and Communicate with Clearing agent in All borders while the trucks are on transit.
- To have good knowledge and experience in Transit goods especially in Congo, Zambia, Rwanda, Uganda,
- Burundi and Malawi and Kenya (East and Central Africa)
- Management of Loading and Offloading of Trucks (Including Interchanging Container document)
- To Collect All the Documents and Delivery note of goods from our Drivers
- To send daily report of Trucks to the client and to the Managing Director
- Must be familiar with TANROAD Policies and laws regarding weighbridges and Weight distribution of Trucks, Trailers and Goods
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Application
QUALIFICATION:
- A Bachelor Degree or Equivalent required
- Must be goods in numbers and have good grades in Mathematics both O level, A level and University.
- Must be Fluent in Spoken and Written in English
- At least 5yrs Experience in Logistics Management in Transportation of goods by roads Especially in Congo, Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda, Burundi and Kenya (East and Central Africa)
