Position: Tour Coordinator/Guide

Job Description

REPORTS TO: Branch Manager
The tour coordinator’s job begins long before the tour itself. A tour coordinator interacts with managers, booking agents and publicists to develop a calendar of events with locations, dates and times. This calendar provides the groundwork for organizing travel and transportation and accommodations. The tour coordinator is also responsible for making any arrangements to meet the specific needs of staff and performers.

Once the tour begins, the tour coordinator travels with the group, staying on top of the scheduling by troubleshooting any travel issues, problems with the touring staff and schedule changes. A significant part of the tour coordinator’s job is to make sure that each person is in the right place at the right time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare travel calendar.
  2. Communicate with managers, booking agents and publicists.
  3. Listen carefully and meet the needs of tour staff and performers.
  4. Make all travel arrangements including rental cars, limos, private and commercial airline travel.
  5. Reserve appropriate accommodations for tour staff and performers.
  6. Troubleshoot any logistical issues, staff or performer problems.
  7. Oversee the schedule of every person involved in the tour.
  8. Keep travel expenses within the tour’s budget.
  9. Work closely with the road manager.
  10. Travel for weeks and months at a time.

Qualifications and Skills:

Contract Period:
1-year Renewable contract after completion of 3 months probationary period.

Position: Assistant Accountant CUM Sales

Job Description

REPORTS TO: Branch Supervisor
Role Purpose statement: Supporting the finance department, accountant, and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Preparing budgets, maintaining reports, and completing basic bookkeeping and accounting duties for the company.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
  2. Completing purchase orders
  3. Managing payroll
  4. Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the finance team
  5. Assisting with budgets
  6. Completing bank reconciliations
  7. Entering financial information into appropriate software programs
  8. Managing company ledgers
  9. Processing business expenses
  10. Coordinating internal and external audits
  11. Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies
  12. Verifying bank deposits
  13. Managing day-to-day transactions
  14. Recording office expenditures and ensuring these expenses are within the set budget
  15. Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements
  16. Posting daily receipts
  17. Preparing annual budgets
  18. Completing the year-end analysisReporting on debtors and creditors

Remuneration and Benefits:
Gross Pay (Gross Salary & Bonus) ranges TZS 350,000 -TZS 600,000 per month subject to taxes, duties and other statutory deductions.
The successful candidate recruited outside workstation will be entitled to the transportation of personal effects to the maximum of his/her entry salary point and fare to the new station for himself/herself.

Contract Period:
1-year Renewable contract after completion of 3 months probationary period
