Senior Specialist, Digital Channels Systems  

 

CRDB Bank PLC is looking for a suitable candidate to fill 2 vacant positions of Senior Specialist, Digital Channels Systems existing in the Department of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) at Head Office, Dar es Salaam.

Job Purpose:

To effectively lead a team of ICT Specialist, Systems administrators, responsible for Self-service / Channels systems support. Implementation of new & Enhancements and Second level Day by Day support of all Channels systems; Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Agent Banking, SMS Service, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) integrations with internal & external systems and All Self-service customer facing systems.

Accountabilities:

 

  • Supervise and provide technical support and monitoring of the Digital Channel systems.
  • Supervise support by 24 hours on call support and supervise day-to-day support of these systems.
  • Document and analyse technical specifications for changes and projects.
  • Review updates, test and implement changes and/or enhancements in compliance with the Change Management Policy.
  • Supervise and execute System integration testing and subsequent implementation of system upgrades, hotfixes, patch releases.
  • Coordinate interventions by vendors.
  • Provide end-user support; investigate, troubleshoot, document, and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Configure hardware, Digital Systems, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Supervise the daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Supervise the backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and data are successfully backed up to the appropriate destination(s).
  • Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary.
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures; coordinate and communicate with impacted users.

 

Qualifications

 

  • At least under graduate or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant IT degree from a University with a reputable curriculum.
  • At least one professional qualification in ITSM related area (i.e. ITIL).

 

Experience Required

 

  • At least 5-year experience at ICT Senior / Supervisor role in a bank of similar size and scale.
  • At least 6 years of experience in ICT related role
  • At least 3 years of experience in supporting Self-Service Digital Channels in organizations of similar size and scale
  • Experience and ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative

CRDB Bank PLC is looking for a suitable candidate to fill 1 vacant position of Senior Manager ICT Strategy & Governance existing in the Department of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) at Head Office, Dar es Salaam.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Manager ICT Strategy & Governance is responsible for the day to day management, monitoring and reporting on the systems and processes that support governance, strategy, risk, compliance, audit, security, architecture and overall administration and reporting within the Department of Information & Communication Technology (ICT).

Responsibilities for the Role:

 

  • Develop, implement and monitor reporting mechanisms for overall strategy and governance, security and risk practices to support compliance and highlight areas of exposure
  • Review identified security risks and breaches to ensure the bank assets and information are appropriately secured at all times
  • Monitor and review compliance with audit and risk management strategies and practices to ensure ICT-related activities are meeting minimum standards
  • Report on ICT compliance metrics, follow up with respective issues owners and advise on best practices to be applied on processes, people or systems delivering ICT services.
  • Maintain currency and applicability of subject matter knowledge and the links to legislative, legal and statutory changes relating to information security and management
  • Manage team performance, including guiding, supporting, coaching and mentoring team members
  • Ensure all projects, enterprise architecture and initiatives are aligned and compliant to established bank’s security policies, processes and standards.
  • Manage the security awareness and training programs of the bank
  • Collaborate with external and internal business stakeholders, including Risk, Audit, HR, Compliance, BOT and external auditors, for effective and value-adding relationship
  • Undertake risk control self-assessment prior to any independent audit or assessment, report and raise and issue noted for management attention and recording.
  • Ensure all relevant ICT documents like policies, procedure, processes are reviewed regularly according to the policies and maintained.
  • Review the application of Information Security policies and related standards and guidelines across business areas to ensure they are applied consistently and effectively and escalating any concerns.
  • Manage deliverables of the team members, in accordance to their duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform any other related roles and responsibilities as may be assigned from ICT Management, Line management or bank’s senior management.

Job Purpose:

The Office Application Support Specialist is responsible to provide timely support to the daily operation in the company and support applications which are direct used by the users on their daily activities like Corporate Email, Active Directory, workflows. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a diverse, multicultural environment. The candidate should also have a sense of ownership over all applications and should ensure smooth daily operation of all application in the position’s purview.

Accountabilities:

 

  • To Monitor and provide technical support to all applications and ensures that he/she is providing necessary help to the end-users and allots work to the staff.
  • Responsible to resolves critical issues of the system which is used by normal users in their daily operations
  • Provide timely and high-quality L1 and L2 support for AD, Corporate email, and all other office application systems, leveraging specialized knowledge and training in aforementioned applications.

Job Purpose:

 

  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the IT risk assurance program which includes Information security policies, controls, guidance and best practices aimed to reduce operational IT risk.
  • This position is responsible for assessing and facilitating IT risk-related activities such as IT audits, regulatory exams, compliance testing, investigations and control attestations.
  • Review system’s security documentation in order to identify potential security weaknesses, recommend improvements to amend vulnerabilities, implement changes and document security relevant changes.

Responsibilities for the Role:

 

  • Coordinate regular compliance, risk, maturity and audit reviews executed within the ICT functions, including reporting progress against identified areas of improvement.

  • Reports all KRI (Key Risk Indicator) and RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment) in to Risk department on monthly basis.

  • Updating ICT Risk register and track all gaps identify in risk assessment and act as ICT Risk champion.

  • Professional Certification like CISA, CISM, CGEIT will be an added advantage.
