DAI Global LLC, is implementing the Feed the Future Tanzania Land Tenure Assistance activity (LTA) funded by the USAID, based in Iringa. This four-year project will assist 41 villages in Iringa and Mbeya Districts to register land ownership by issuing CCROs, support village land use planning efforts and increase local understanding of land use and land rights.
To accomplish the project objectives, DAI Global LLC, Feed the Future Tanzania Land Tenure Assistance (LTA) seeks to recruit a committed and dedicated candidate to fill the position of Registration Assistant.



PURPOSE:
The Registration Assistant will provide support to the Field Program Director in all activities related to land registration in the 41 selected villages for the LTA program. The Registration Assistant will also support public outreach and monitoring and evaluation activities of the LTA program.

OBJECTIVE AND DUTIES:
The Registration Assistant will be responsible for:

• Support the Field Program Director in implementation of training and land registration activities in the field
• Support the Public Outreach and Communications Specialist in the implementation of public outreach and training activities in the field
• Complete supplementary data collection questionnaire (in coordination with demarcation/ adjudication work) with claimants in the field
• Train and supervise village communications assistants to complete the supplementary data collection questionnaire with claimants in the field
• Support the Field Program Director to track the registration and processing of CCROs
• Support the Field Program Director on the training of trainers for extension of MAST to target villages
• Collect monitoring and evaluation data and enter to TAMIS
• Oversee printing and registration of CCROs as required
• Other duties as assigned to assist in the implementation of LTA field activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree in land management, rural development, communications
• Minimum 2 years prior professional experience preferable
• Experience of working on the projects under USAID is an added advantage
• Good spoken and written English and Swahili

JOB PURPOSE: The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist will be responsible for monitoring, evaluation and results measurement system development, which will effectively track inputs and outputs of activities and achievement of results related to each component of the program.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE POSITION

• Provide daily monitoring of project activities and tracking status of beneficiaries during the training and after completion Tracking Registration of all farmers involved in Olam Coffee outgrower Programme (COP)
• Share bi-weekly report monitoring data by completing a monitoring form shared by the organization
• Support and update information systems, supporting both day-to-day monitoring needs (e.g., recordkeeping) as well as ensuring quality and accuracy of data reports.
• Maintaining a quality of work in line with Olam’s global standards in regards of social, environmental and health & safety aspects;
• Defining well-functioning communication channel between coffee farmers and Olam in order to adequately address issues and challenges identified during implementation;
• Maintaining proper control of expenses and budgets that are fixed for Olam COP;
• Regularly and accurately reporting (focus on quality of content) on progress towards COP objectives.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Experience (minimum 2 years) in the related field
• Work under minimum supervision
• Knowledge related to coffee crop shall be of added advantage.
• Must have rich experience of working in field with the farmers.
• Good verbal and written communication skill, hands on with office package.

Location: The position is appointed in the Kagera Region, more precisely in the Karagwe District until further clarifications are given in the contract.

Employement Conditions: the selected candidate would be offered a position of Junior Officer for a fixed-term contract of 6 months, renewable or for a longer period.

Duties and Responsibilities
