Meru Agro-Tours & Consultants Co. Ltd is a registered local private company that was founded in July 2005 and commenced business in October 2006. As the name implies, Meru agro-Tours & Consultants Co. Ltd intends conduct business in three areas namely, agricultural input and produce, Tourism and Consultation Services.
Currently Meru Agro-Tours & Consultants Co. Ltd is conducting agro input  business in Northern Tanzania and through its network of agents/stockiest for the rest of the country. The current main business activities & services are:-
- Production and distribution of agro seeds.
- Importation and distribution of agro-chemicals.
- Distribution of  fertilizers and light agricultural equipments such as sprayers
- Outreach services on key technology on farm input use and management
