Finance Business Partner – Retail
CRDB Bank PLC is looking for suitable person to fill a vacant position of Finance Business Partner – Retail in the Department of Finance at the Head Office, in Dar es Salaam.
Job Purpose:
To be a catalyst that will influence decision making to Retail Business and the bank as a whole. To achieve this, the role requires working closely with business units, clear understanding of the business drivers and needs; providing support and analysis that will influence in day to day decision making and shaping strategy.
Key responsibilities:
Periodically providing various insightful financial analytics on various areas of the business that will help to trigger actions aiming in improving financial performance.
Coordination and support Retail Banking Business in preparation of quality monthly financial performance papers for management meeting.
Monthly tracking on exception interest rates on new deals offered to customers on Loans and advances, customer deposits.
Support Retail Business in tracking customer deposit movements per product and per channel on the number of new accounts opened, accounts closed accounts, number of unfunded accounts, increase in dormant a/c.
Tracking on income leakage especially from Non-Interest Income (NFI) by ensuring income received is in accordance to the transaction volumes or corresponds to income drivers and as per approved tariff guide.
Preparation of monthly financial analysis for Retail business (that will include product profitability, Channel Performance, Zonal Performance etc) and presentation to business monthly financial performance meeting.
Work closely with other support functions especially IT to improve the availability of information that are key in supporting decision-making.
Be the link between Finance with Retail Business including alignment of performance papers produced by CFO to those produced by business.
Attributes:
Good Analytical Skills including working with Advances MS Excel.
Knowledge of Banking Products.
Good Communication and Presentation skills.
Self-motivated and good team player.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, internally and externally.
Qualifications and Experience:
University degree in business administration, Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance.
Professional qualifications CPA, TIOB will be an added advantage.

To achieve this, the role requires working closely with business units, clear understanding of the business drivers and needs; providing support and analysis that will influence in day to day decision making and shaping strategy.

Periodically providing various insightful financial analytics on various areas of the business that will help to trigger actions aiming in improving financial performance.
Coordination and support both Corporate Business and Treasury Business in preparation of quality monthly financial performance papers for management meeting.

Tracking on income leakage especially from Non-Interest Income (NFI) by ensuring income received is in accordance to the transaction volumes or corresponds to income drivers and as per approved tariff guide.
