This position is open for Tanzanian work authorization holder.

Location: Based in Serengeti

Essential Functions

 

  • To provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all guests. To co-ordinate guests consultation records with the therapists.
  • To adhere to an agreed reporting system on a timely basis. To operate Spa Booking system efficiently.
  • To operate Spa retail sales efficiently.
  • To ensure all Spa retail products are with in the expiry dates and ensure inventory is carried out on a monthly basis.
  • To be responsible for all billing procedures at the reception desk and the correct reconciliation of funds at the close of each shift and at the end of the day’s work.
  • Complete daily opening and closing procedures as per Spa Standards Training manual.
  • Schedule reservations of Spa services for guests and monitor availability of treatments and staff to ensure prompt service according to the relevant skills of the therapists.
  • Assist with administration duties such as purchasing, receiving and inventory reporting.
  • To answer all phone, email and written enquiries before the end of each shift.
  • To ensure the cleanliness of the Spa Reception area and make sure that it is a welcoming space for guests.
  • Ensure Golden is used at the Reception and all relevant guest details are given to the Therapist.
  • To demonstrate a professional attitude at all times, particularly with regard to punctuality, appearance and general manner towards guests and colleagues.
  • To be responsible for preparing the reception for the incoming shift and recording any information in the Log Book.
  • To ensure adequate supplies of Hotel and Spa literature so that guest enquiries can be dealt with straight away.
  • Is seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in crunch times; Walks the talk.
  • Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment.
  • Is proficient in the use of the spa reservations software.
  • Identifies and reports facility maintenance issues and equipment related problems immediately to manager.
  • To ensure all spa confirmations is sent to guest room on timely manner. Attends all scheduled training sessions.
  • Maintains stocks of operating and guest supplies in the work areas.
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee handbook.
  • Actively participates in briefings and meetings. Reads and update the daily Log Book.
  • Identifies and reports facility maintenance issues and equipment related problems immediately to manager.

 

Other Functions

Other duties as assigned by management.

May be required to temporarily relocate to another locations or property to assist as needed.
