Job Title: Logistic Supervisor
Location: Dar es Salaam
Job Purpose: Business planning framework responsible for making sure cargo reach their destinations safely, securely, and on-time.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and arrange logistics required shipment.
- Ensure effective and timely implementation of all logisics daily operational goals.
- Oversee transportation of shipment from one location to another,such as from loading docks to site and also from site to the port by arranging pickups and deliveries.
Attributes/Skills:
- Have good verbal and written communication skills to direct employees and prepare reports for upper management.
- Ability to act decisively to resolve problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and strong project management skills.
- Refined ability to delegate responsibilities.
- To be able to work under pressure without supervision.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor degree/Diploma or its equivalent in Logistics Management.
- Knowledge in Clearing & forwarding,and shipping line procedures will be an added advantage.
- 3-5 years working experience in CFA Industry.
- Skilled in Tanzania Customs and Cargo Management System.
