POSITION RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Head of Accounts and Administration
A. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Designs and maintains an effective and efficient stores record keeping system
ii. Coordinates with user – departments on matters relating to office supplies and stores
iii. Collects quotations from various suppliers
iv. Purchases and receives stock items
v. Writes and issues authorized purchase orders,
vi. Inspects and checks stock items
vii. Participates in annual stock taking
viii. Ensures compliance with the Public Procurement and other relevant regulations
ix. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by Head of Accounts and Administration
B. KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
i. Must be Tanzanian Citizen
ii. Holder of an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor (Degree) in Procurement/ Supplies Management from recognized Higher Learning Institution
iii. Must be registered with Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB)
iv. Must be a computer literate
v. Not above 35 years of age
vi. Must have at least 3 years’ experience in the same field from a reputable Organization
vii. Fluent in both Kiswahili and English
REMUNERATIONS:
Competitive remuneration will be offered to successful candidates for the above positions as per TANROADS guidelines.
