About API
Ardent Porter International (API) is a clearing and forwarding company that is based in Dar es Salaam. We operate in collaboration with a sister company, known as Ardent Porters Limited, in Yiwu, China. We provide a range of services including Customs Clearing, Imports Facilitation, Exports Management, Buying Agency, Full Container Cargo (FCL) Handling, Loose Cargo (LCL) Handling, and Insurance Brokerage.
Position Summary
The marketing officer will be responsible for pushing the sales our services. He/she will act as an intermediary between our officers in all our service lines and our current and prospective clients.
Main Responsibilities
- Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns
- Devising and presenting ideas and strategies
- Organizing promotional activities, events, and exhibitions
- Managing campaigns on social media
- Monitoring and managing tenders and bids
- Making information about our company readily available
Qualifications
- Superior oral and verbal communication skills
- Good command in English
- Good organization and planning skills
- Commercial awareness
- The level of education should be a diploma or above
- At least two (2) experience in marketing or sales
- Should be under 30 years of age.
