The Embassy of Ireland is seeking to recruit two highly motivated and dynamic individuals to join its team and support the implementation of its Mission Strategy.

The available positions are:

• Programme Manager – Inclusive Economic Growth 

• Programme Manager – Reproductive Health and Nutrition 

The Mission Strategy addresses all aspects of Ireland’s engagement in Tanzania and accredited institutions and countries. Its overall goal is to promote Ireland’s interests and values in Tanzania and the wider region and thereby contribute positively to Tanzania’s national development goals and Ireland’s international commitment to delivering the Sustainable Development Goals. The Mission Strategy has a strong focus on promoting gender equality, improving health and nutrition, and securing sustainable livelihoods in Tanzania.

Minimum qualifications and skills requirements: 

• A post-graduate qualification in a discipline directly relevant to the position
• Three years relevant work experience
• A proven track record of delivering timely results and taking responsibility for quality outcomes
• Interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills including fluent written and verbal English (fluency in Kiswahili is an asset)

Applicants must have a Tanzanian work permit, where necessary.
