Nurse (1 post) – DCMS Project, Dar

 

Ifakara is looking for a qualified and experienced Nurse to fill a vacant position in the Digital Cough Monitoring Study (DCMS). The ideal candidate is expected to support the project in the screening and diagnosis of Pulmonary TB as well as the clinical follow-up and prediction of treatment outcomes among confirmed Pulmonary TB cases in resource-limited settings.

Qualification and Experience
• Must be Tanzanian with a Certificate in Nursing and Midwifery.
• Experience of conducting clinical trials and working in hospitals.
• Knowledge of GCP will be added advantage.
• Previous experience of using electronic devices for data capture is an advantage.

Ifakara is looking for qualified and experienced individuals to take the position of Field Dispenser in the ANTICOV project. The Field Dispenser will perform field activities and home follow up of participants at areas surrounding Amana, Mwananyamala or Temeke regional referral hospitals in Dar es Salaam.




Qualification and Experience
• Ordinary or Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (Form Four or Six graduate)
• Experience in collecting blood samples will be added advantage.
• Having worked in a research environment.

Ifakara is looking for qualified and experienced Nurses to fill vacant positions in the ANTICOV project. The Nurses will work at one of the regional referral hospitals in Dar es Salaam, namely: Temeke, Amana or Mwananyamala where Ifakara is conducting the project. The Nurses will play a key role in the provision of research nursing services, day to day planning and execution of clinical study activities, and to act as a team player for a clinical study team consisting of research nurses and study physicians.

Qualification and Experience
• At least diploma in Nursing and Midwife, must be registered.
• Proven experience of working in a health facility setting.
• Experience of applying computer programs, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
