Internships offer a planned and mentored work experience with the goal being to gain additional knowledge from on the job. Some of the program reasons are to address challenges, set strategies with clear outcomes to benefits beneficiaries and the ICT industry. Graduates participating in this program will earn professional work experience in their ICT field of choice, get assistance in their job search after college life and stand out in the ICT industry as a professionally trained individual. This program will benefit both Interns and host institutions.

While interns will gain on-the-job training that integrates education, career development and service provision, host institutions will get skilled and competent young graduates who will contribute in development of solutions to achieve their company/ institutions goals. Both interns and host institutions will create professional networks, exchange contacts and work together to further the ICT industry in Tanzania. It is expected that the program will increase supply of skilled Tanzanian talent ready for the ICT industry, expose young ICT graduates to real life ICT industry practices and enhanced ICT academy-industry linkage.
