The University College area can be reached from Dar es Salaam (66 km), Msata (63 km) located along main road from Dar es Salaam to Tanga and Arusha.The University College could also be reached from Kibaha through Kikawe and Mapinga (54 km) and from Mlandizi (52 km).The Bagamoyo town is connected to Dar es Salaam and Msata by a tarmac road.

Within a radius of 2 kilometers there are Marian Girls High School and Agency for Development of Education Management (ADEM).The government district offices, banks, posta office, main bus stand and shopping areas are within 3 kilometer at central Bagamoyo town.The University is 500 m from the Indian Ocean shore and beach called Msalabani Pilgrim and Stella Maris Hotel.The main entrance to MARUCO is opposite Msalabani Mini Supermarket along Mango Street to Roman Catholic Museum center.
