HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
On behalf of client, KaziniKwetu Ltd is looking for a Human Resource Manager to be based in Dar es Salaam. The desired candidate should have prior work experience in Human Resources Management.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Plan and manage recruitment and selection of staff
Identify and manage training and development needs for employees
Develop and implement human resources policies and procedures
Administer HR policies and procedures
Ensure compensation and benefits are in line with company policies and legislation
Implement and monitor performance management system
Handle employee complaints, grievances and disputes
Administer employee discipline processes
Conduct exit interviews
Review and update employee rules and regulations
Coordinate employee safety, welfare and wellness
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR function
Education and Experience
Degree or diploma in human resources management, business administration or equivalent
Experienced with CMA procedures
Good in employment and labor relation
IMPORT EXPORT SUPERVISOR
A well established manufacturing company in Dar es Salaam is looking for Import Export Supervisor to supervise import and export logistics. A desired candidate should have a sound experience in the Tanzania’s customs clearance procedure and should be a well connected person.
Responsibilities:
Working with the accounting, purchasing, and warehouse departments for close coordination on import/export taxes, invoice verification, freight movements, and other duties as needed.
Managing customs clearance for all imports and exports.
Coordinating clearance of goods with the clearing and Forwarding Agents and TRA officials when needed.
Ensuring prompt and accurate, booking, documentation and invoicing.
Maintaining good business relations with shipping lines to monitor the positions of theincoming goods.
Negotiating rates and quotations with shipping lines.
Managing government trade relations, operations, regulations, updates and permitts for inbound and outbound goods.
Qualifications:
At least three years experience in the import export customs clearance procedures
Experience in the courier companies or clearing and forwarding companies.
Good connections within the domain.
Excellent in Kiswahili and fluent in English (Chinese is an added advantage).
LAB TECHNICIAN – CONCRETE
Kazinikwetu Ltd on behalf of client is seeking to add an experienced Laboratory Technician who will be responsible for conducting routine laboratory test and analysis on conrete. The incumbent will interface with other technicians in prioritizing the workload and getting the analysis and tests performed in a timely manner
Responsibilities
Accurately record laboratory test data and assist with customer/plant reports
Perform and assist with concrete testing (i.e. slump, air, unit weight, yield, concrete samples, etc.)
Perform and assist with cement testing
Safely operate and maintain lab equipment
Maintain inventory of lab samples, received and sent, with appropriate records
Inspect quality of ready- mix and conduct tests of concrete
Conduct laboratory tests of concrete to estimate compressive strength
Oversee the preparation of ready- mix and advise on the use of additives
Prepare reports on test results and to provide recommendations
Qualifications:
Diploma in Lab related field is required.
At least three years of experience working in a cement plant or industrial lab preferred.
Experience working in the cement, lime or aggregate industry is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word. Ability to learn other, lab specific, software applications.
