Responsibilities
Assist and ensure the bank is up to date with new, proposed laws and compliance
Handle various legal matters after understanding the client’s case
Ensure bank legal matters are handled properly, provide support and analyze risks
Advise managers on laws that may affect the bank and its department
Train staff members and ensure legal procedures are followed in every aspect
Assist in drafting, reviewing existing contracts and resolve cases
Conduct legal research and obtain enough information about laws that the bank is exposed to.
Qualification
Education
Bachelor degree or Masters in Law
Experience
5 years experience in Banking sector and legal department is added advantage
Skills
Handling legal matters
Understand the business and the industry
Proactive
Able to anticipate legal risks
