IT – Products and Promotions Engineer
Airtel Tanzania PLC is looking for a suitable Tanzanian candidate for the IT – Products & Promotions Engineer Position.The purpose of this position is to discuss with the commercial department to facilitate Commercial product development and campaigns. He/She will be responsible to ensure the technical feasibility of the products, to coordinate with the different technical departments and UT partners in ensuring product design, development, testing before rolling out of products and campaigns to the market. He /she will work closely with the Commercial department on all new technical product innovations.
Key deliverables;
- Understand business campaigns requirements and prepare for execution or development
- Discuss business requirements with the business users and communicate the same to respective stakeholders
- Develop or coordinate delivery of products / promotions and their objectives
- Supporting Operations
Qualifications and Experience;
- Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or any other related field.
- A minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in product development preferably from Telecom or FMCG marketing enviroment
- Project Management skills,design and implementing Database systems in MS SQL,Oracle and MySQL
- Programming ability using java ,C,C++ and web programming using JHP,PHP,XHMTL and CSS
- Business Inteligence and Analysis,Data warehouse (ETL tools,dashboards for Data Visualisation,API intergration) skills
