Mwenge Catholic University (MWECAU) invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to be considered for immediate employment to fill the following vacancies in the Academic posts.

i. Business Studies
Field: Accounting
Two (2) Positions – Assistant Lecturers

Field: Procurement and Supply Management
Two (2) Positions – Assistant Lecturers

ii. Chemistry Unit
Field: Physical Chemistry
One (1) Position – Assistant Lecturer

Field: Inorganic Chemistry
One (1) Position – Assistant Lecturer

iii. Biology Unit
Field: Botany
One (1) Position – Assistant Lecturer

Field: Ecology
One (1) Position – Assistant Lecturer

Field: Microbiology
One (1) Position – Assistant Lecturer

NOTE: The Applicant must have a Masters degree with the following qualifications; Bachelor degree with a GPA of 3.8 or above and Masters degree with a GPA of 4.0 or above of the mentioned fields

MAIN DUTIES
1) Carries out lectures, Seminars, tutorials and practical’s for undergraduate programs;
2) Sets, invigilates and marks undergraduate examinations;
3) Assist senior staff in lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical’s for postgraduate programs;
4) Supervise projects and practical training for undergraduate students
5) Conduct research and publishes results;
6) Carries out consultancy and public service;
7) Participate in relevant workshops and conferences; and
8) Performs any other relevant duties assigned by one’s superior
