Mission: This role exists to grow and share the Valora community across the world. You will:
Own all marketing initiatives, channels, touchpoints, and domains:
Channels include website, blog, email, social (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn), events, paid media, in-app messaging Touchpoints include every stage of the marketing funnel from awareness and consideration to activation and advocacy Domains include branding, communications, growth, lifecycle, etc.
Build and manage the multi-disciplinary marketing team (4 full-time employees and 10+ occassional part-time freelance employees) Continuously assess and fulfill marketing resource and staffing needs so the team has what they need to keep up with the dynamic needs of the business Identify, vet, onboard, and manage external partners and vendors Create enagaging marketing materials for our target audience to engage, inform, and motivate Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to uncover business, market, user, and competitive insights Lead brand marketing campaigns that differentiate Valora from competitors and will resonate with people who are eager to explore web3 Plan and execute growth marketing initiatives that will achieve our objective of onboarding the next billion people to web3 Communicate and collaborate with other team leads, ensuring you’re supporting and aligning with the other funcitonal experts so everyone can move forward as one cohesive team Utilize strong analytical skills to evaluate the user experience across multiple marketing channels and touchpoints Estimate marketing costs and track actual spending to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with company objectives
Personal alignment with the company mission and values 10+ years of relevant experience Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal High emotional intelligence Empathy for our users, your teammates, and our partners Awareness of the evolving landscape of marketing tools, technologies, resources, trends, and best practices Desire to stay informed on relevant current events and pop culture Passion for fostering healthy communities and making human connections Working knowledge of common business tools (e.g. Slack, Notion, Google Workspace) and marketing tools (e.g. Contentful, CleverTap, Google Analytics, Sprout) Experience in fintech—and bonus if you also have crypto experience
