Finance Assistant

Position Summary

Position Summary:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for efficient and effective management of daily operations of the Finance Department in the COE.

Position Summary
Overall additional storekeeping activities will encompass administration of the operations of a store. The Store keeper will support shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating and maintaining stock or inventory, documenting stores transactions, maintaining and keeping records and writing stores weekly reports, attending various meetings with nutritional department, pharmacy, social department as well as with clinical directors.

The Procurement Officer is responsible for all purchasing functions, including evaluating and qualifying Suppliers/vendors; placing and tracking orders; ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods; soliciting and analyzing quotes.


Adolescent Coordinator (1 post)

Position Summary

To improve psychosocial support for adolescents attending Mbeya COE with focus on vulnerable adolescents, adherence and retention in care, and sexual and reproductive health.
To improve local support systems for ALHIV at satellite facilities, with specific focus on retention in care and adherence to treatment.

Position Summary;
To support the conduct of diagnostic and monitoring laboratory investigations associated with the diagnosis, care and treatment of family-centered pediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment in compliance with current laboratory professional standards as per Government of Tanzania MOHSW guidelines in a safe workplace and quality assurance

Medical Officer (1)

Position Summary:

To provide medical assessment, evaluation and care to patients in the Zonal Referral Hospital, the Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation —Tanzania Center of Excellence (COE) and in outreach facilities. This care includes the diagnosis and assessment of HIV-exposed and HIV-infected children and adults and the development of individualized care and treatment plans including the initiation and follow-up of children on antiretroviral (ARV) therapy
To provide education to medical trainees regarding pediatric and general HIV/AIDS care through didactic training, clinical mentoring and clinical attachments to the COE and in other settings
