{"id":9979,"date":"2019-02-11T13:19:30","date_gmt":"2019-02-11T10:19:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/?p=9979"},"modified":"2019-02-11T13:19:30","modified_gmt":"2019-02-11T10:19:30","slug":"medical-jobs-vacancy-at-britam-insurance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/medical-jobs-vacancy-at-britam-insurance\/","title":{"rendered":"Medical Jobs Vacancy at Britam Insurance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JOB VACANCY-APPLY ONLINE<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- linkAD.2 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3390598296\" data-ad-format=\"link\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<b>Claims Assistant\u00a0<\/b>\u2013 Medical \u2013 (1900000L)<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Purpose and Key responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>The role holder will be responsible for processing medical claims with a focus on controlling and management of member benefits through vetting of inpatient and outpatient bills.\u00a0 The role will report to the Assistant Manager-Medical Claims<\/li>\n<li>Verify and capture outpatient and inpatient claims as per the claims manual<\/li>\n<li>Assess medical claims documents for authenticity and process payments within set service levels<\/li>\n<li>Register and process all reported medical claims and appoint relevant service providers where applicable and advice the clients on the required claims supporting documents<\/li>\n<li>Raise payment requisitions within the set standards<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the finance department to ensure safe and timely dispatch of reimbursement claims cheques to clients<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all claims documents are archived in the relevant systems Assist in case management activities<\/li>\n<li>Promptly and efficiently attend to customer queries, and complaints<\/li>\n<li>Deliver on performance requirements as defined in the departments\u2019 strategy map, balanced scorecard and Personal Scorecard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;
