Must be willina to work for considerable lengths of time when required under minimum supervision.<\/p>\n<p>Regional Manager TANROADS -Dar es Salaam invites interested candidates to apply for the following positions:<\/p>\n<p>POSITION TITLE:\u00a0<b>SHIFT IN \u2013 CHARGE<\/b>-(6 POSTS)<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3464335665\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<b>Key Qualifications for the Shift In \u2013 Charge;<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be Holder of Ordinary Secondary Education Certificate,<\/li>\n<li>Holder of 1 st Degree in any profession (Higher qualification will be advantageous);<\/li>\n<li>Must be Computer literate (at least Advance Certificate in Computer Applications);<\/li>\n<li>Must be fluent in both written and spoken Kiswahili and English languages;<\/li>\n<li>Must be a Tanzanian Citizen;<\/li>\n<li>Between 35 and 40 years of age.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities of shift In \u2013 Charge<\/b><br \/>\nThe shift In \u2013 Charge who reports to the Regional Manager through the Axle Load Control Supervisor (ALCS) will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enforcing Road Traffic Axle Load Control by the use of Weighbridge scale devices;Supervising shift activities that among others including:<\/li>\n<li>Weighing motor vehicles Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) &gt;3.500Kg plying on our public Roads<\/li>\n<li>Imposing road damage fees on the spot for overloaded vehicles;<\/li>\n<li>Measuring physical dimensions of motor vehicle or any load being carried on the motor vehicle for providing advices to transporters incase of non compliance with vehicle dimension limit;<\/li>\n<li>Recording all necessary particulars regarding the motor vehicle being weighed;<\/li>\n<li>Observing good customer care, dignity and integrity;<\/li>\n<li>Reporting all matters on Axle Load Control to the Regional Manager through the ALCS;<\/li>\n<li>Performing other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Regional Manager \/ ALCS;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>REMUNERATIONS:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>TANROADS Salary Scale 5.1 (TRS 5.1)<\/p>\n<p>All the interested and qualified Tanzanians are invited to submit their applications in writing enclosing detailed curriculum vitae and original certified copies of their birth certificates and all other relevant academic and professional certificates, together with names of two referees and their contact addresses, telephone number(s) and e-mail addresses, so as to reach the addressee mentioned below not later than 8th February, 2019.
