The ideal candidate will have a passion for community development and a strong interest in NGO\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise Form 5 and 6 students on Beyond St Jude\u2019s Community Service Year (CSY) program.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with CSY intern applications.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Headmasters of local government schools for available teaching positions for CSY interns.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with St Jude\u2019s departments for available positions for CSY interns.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange CSY intern placements for Form 6 graduates in local government schools or St Jude\u2019s departments.<\/li>\n<li>Organise the annual Work Readiness workshop.<\/li>\n<li>Support and mentor CSY interns during their placement, including visits and reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Beyond St Jude\u2019s team with growth and expansion of CSY program.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to strict annual workflow program.<\/li>\n<li>Assist students with career guidance, scholarship and university applications.<\/li>\n<li>Work with other members of the Beyond St Jude\u2019s team and in other areas of the department\u2019s duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- linkAD.2 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3390598296\" data-ad-format=\"link\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<b>Other Duties<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Periodically suggest improvements to the department\u2019s procedure and submit to your supervisor for approval.<\/li>\n<li>Participate and support fellow staff in school mission-related activities such as all school celebration days.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in student selection process, including house checks after hours and on rest days up to 20 Saturdays per annum.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any duties as assigned by Heads of Department, Managers and Founding Director.<\/li>\n<li>Travel between campuses, visiting Government schools and universities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of two years\u2019 experience in a teaching role in a secondary school.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of Education holder.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in written and spoken English.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good organizational skills, time management, and ability to work independently.<\/li>\n<li>Good computer skills \u2013 Microsoft Word, Excel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Apply<\/b><br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3464335665\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nInterested Candidates for this job are kindly requested to send their CV accompanied by a Cover Letter to\u00a0<b>recruitment@schoolofstjude.co.tz<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Applications should be sent by 31st January 2019.
