Should have at least twelve (12) years of relevant work experience out of which at least three (3) years should be at a senior managerial position.<\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b><br \/>\nManages the Information and Communication Technology Unit by formulating short and long term work programmes for the Unit and ensures that programmes are implemented;<br \/>\nFormulates the Authority\u2019s information and communication technology policies and guidelines, and ensuring that such policies and guidelines are adhered to by all Departments and Units;<br \/>\nFacilitates the application of modern information and communication technology in all aspects of the Authori\u00adty\u2019s operations and ensures that such application is constantly updated;<br \/>\nAssists Departments and other Units in solving problems related to the use of information and communication technology equipment and systems, and takes measures to ensure that information management in the Authority is secure;<br \/>\nMonitors mutually signed contracts with external suppliers of ICT facilities to ensure they are adhered to in rendering quality and effective services.<br \/>\nMonitors the use of information and communication technology in the Authority, and takes measures to prevent the occurrence of problems;<br \/>\nAdvises the Managing Director on all matters pertaining to information and communication technology, and ensures that the Managing Director is appraised of opportunities and threats that have a bearing on the management of information and communication technology in the Authority;<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3464335665\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nLiaising with Government agencies supporting DUWASA in ICT and other ICT service providers to ensure Authority\u2019s ICT are always functional and are at a good state of the art;<br \/>\nPrepares periodic reports outlining the performance of the ICT Unit and the use of information technology in the Authority;<br \/>\nWorks with concerned staff to establish data production schedules to meet user needs at minimum cost, develops procedures and supervises operations to ensure the schedules are met;<br \/>\nPrepares and maintains necessary manuals, flowcharts and system descriptions for all EDP applications;<br \/>\nTo oversee tasks for assignment to administer all ICT systems and review performances to systems personnel;<br \/>\nTo design new systems and improve existing ones;<br \/>\nDevelops individual performance objectives, targets and standards in consultation with the immediate superior as part of performance agreement and conducts open performance review and appraisal for subordinates and gives feedback.<br \/>\nPerforms such other related duties as may be assigned by the Managing Director from time to time.<\/p>\n<p><b>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR THE POSTS<\/b><br \/>\nPermanent and pensionable.<\/p>\n<p><b>AGE LIMIT FOR THE APPLICANTS<\/b><br \/>\nNot above 45 years of age.<\/p>\n<p><b>REMUNERATIONS:<\/b><br \/>\nThe post carries attractive remunerations package subject to work professional qualifications and experience.<\/p>\n<p><b>MODE OF JOB APPLICATION<\/b><br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- linkAD.2 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3390598296\" data-ad-format=\"link\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nLetter of application accompanied with a detailed CV, Photocopies of relevant certificates; names and addresses of three referees; day contact telephone numbers and postal address should reach the under mentioned address before or on 25th January, 2019.<\/p>\n<p><b>Dodoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority,<\/b><br \/>\n<b>P.O.
