The Company was registered on 30th May 2017 and issued with the certificate of incorporation number 135503. The main objective of the Company is to produce quality shoes and other leather related products for internal and external markets.<\/p>\n<p>The Karanga Leather Industries Company Limited (KLICL) intends to hire qualified, energetic, dynamic and proactive Tanzanians to fill the following positions in the organization structure.\u00a0 The incumbents will be responsible for operationalization of the Leather Industries project and implementation of short and long-term strategic plans of the Company.<\/p>\n<p>1.1\u00a0 JOB TITLE:\u00a0<b>\u00a0Production Manager<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1.2\u00a0 REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:<br \/>\nThe Production Manager will be reporting to the Managing Director.<\/p>\n<p><b>1.3 JOB SUMMARY:<\/b><br \/>\nThe Production Manager will be responsible for supervision of production of\u00a0 Leather and Leather related goods. This includes making sure that all goods that\u00a0 are produced in the factories meets the customers\u2019 satisfaction, in\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0terms of\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 quality, time, quantity and ethical standards. The Production\u00a0 \u00a0 Manager will also oversee the production processes; communicate with suppliers about the quality, price and delivery time. He\/she will be responsible for planning, coordination and control of manufacturing\u00a0 \u00a0 process.<\/p>\n<p><b>1.4\u00a0 JOB SPECIFICATIONS:<\/b><br \/>\nThe Production Manager will be a holder of a Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing\/Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Chemical and Processing Engineering and a Holder of Masters Degree in\u00a0 \u00a0business related field. He\/She shall have at least Seven (7) years\u2019 experience in\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 the leather or manufacturing industry.<br \/>\nThe incumbent will be innovative, self-driven with good business analytical skills, leadership skills, computer literacy and strong communication skills (verbal and written)<\/p>\n<p><b>1.5\u00a0 KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.<\/b><br \/>\nOversee\u00a0 \u00a0production processes,<br \/>\nPlan and organize production schedules,<br \/>\nAssess project and resource requirement,<br \/>\nEstimate, negotiate and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers,<br \/>\nEnsure that health and safety regulations in the Leather production process are met,<br \/>\nMonitor production process and determine quality control standards,<br \/>\nRe-negotiating timescales or schedules with various suppliers\/Clients when necessary,<br \/>\nSupervise selection, ordering and purchasing of the required materials at the right time,<br \/>\nOrganize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipments,<br \/>\nOrganize relevant training sessions for the production activities, and<br \/>\nOversees activities of the Engineering department<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3464335665\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<b>REMUNERATION<\/b><br \/>\nAttractive package commensurate with one\u2019s qualification awaits the successful candidate.<\/p>\n<p><b>MODE OF APPLICATION.<\/b><br \/>\nCandidates are required to provide their detailed curriculum vitae, certified copies of academic certificates (Certificate of Secondary Education, Advance Certificate for Secondary Education, Bachelor\/Masters Degree), birth certificates and three works related referees.
