\/>\n<\/b><b>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b><br \/>\nCarries out regular\/ routine inspection of pumps at all pumping<br \/>\nCarries out installation, maintenance and repair of the Authority\u2019s water<br \/>\nKeeps records of maintenance and repair works undertaken for every water<br \/>\nMonitors operations of all pumps at all pumping<br \/>\nCarries out service of the motor\/pumps at Mailisita and Chiumbati according to the maintenance schedule and replaces worn out parts.<br \/>\nAnalyzes operations and working conditions of motor\/pump on monthly basis.<\/p>\n<p>Assesses and recommends the replacement needs for bearings, grand parking, bushes and shaft when necessary.<br \/>\nMaintains proper records of Water Pumps register.<br \/>\nAdvises the Maintenance and Logistic Engineer on all pumps maintenance<br \/>\nDevelops individual performance objectives, targets and standards in consultation with the immediate superior as part of performance agreement.<br \/>\nCarry and recommend necessary action.<br \/>\nConnects water supply to customers as scheduled<br \/>\nReports unauthorized water connections, Maintain records of water theft incidences and witness such incidences in court whenever needed.<br \/>\nReports sewerage pipe faults to responsible officers.<\/p>\n<p>Carries out water disconnections of debtors and reconnections after payment<br \/>\nMaintains proper records of water connections\/disconnections\/reconnections carried out.<br \/>\nDisconnects water from customers who are indebted to MANAWASA and have not paid their bills on time.<br \/>\nReports water pipe bursts.<br \/>\nPrepares data for periodical reports to the supervisor.<br \/>\nReports contamination of water distribution system by customer\u2019s service lines.<br and a trade test III or advanced drivers certificate grade II from a recognized institution like VETA\/NIT, with not less than three years driving experience.<\/p>\n<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b><br \/>\nChecks vehicle every morning to ensure it is fit to be driven before driving.<br \/>\nDrives vehicle safely taking into account traffic laws, safety of passengers and other road users and value of the vehicle.<br \/>\nCleans vehicle regularly.<br \/>\nParks vehicle at safe locations to ensure it is not stolen or<br \/>\nCarries out minor vehicle repairs.<br
