USAID PROTECT is a 5-year activity that will end in March 2020. We are recruiting a Capacity Building Specialist in Dar es Salaam.<\/p>\n<p><b>Essential Duties<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the institutional strengthen leader to map out organizations and institutions affecting or effected by wildlife conservation<\/li>\n<li>Develop a package of modules for effective internal personnel management, internal communications, and external coordination with stakeholders for mapped out organizations and institutions<\/li>\n<li>Establish an information baseline through gap analysis of relevant groups on the basis of a set of criteria for effective organizational functioning<\/li>\n<li>On the basis of the gap analysis, select priority organizations and institutions to work with on the basis of need, the ease of the \u201cfix\u201d, relevance to wildlife trafficking problem, and internal resources<\/li>\n<li>Develop a package of modules of a technical nature for target audiences engaged in biodiversity conservation<\/li>\n<li>Examine the curriculum of local wildlife training institutions (Pasiansi and MWEKA) and advise how they can be leveraged to scale up institutional strengthening expertise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- linkAD.2 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3390598296\" data-ad-format=\"link\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><b>Minimum Required Education &amp; Experience<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree and 9 years of experience or Bachelor\u2019s degree and 12 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Natural Resources Management and capacity building<\/li>\n<li>Must be fluent in English, with strong report writing ability<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated strength and experience developing the capacity of government institutions<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience developing training curricula, including workshop agendas, presentations, and training exercises<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with a wide range of capacity building techniques<\/li>\n<li>Strong facilitation and training skills required<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to work collaboratively and build consensus across diverse sets of stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Experience working on USAID or international donor projects is desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills &amp; Abilities<\/p>\n<p>Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel<br \/>\nAbility to multi-task<br \/>\nAbility to work well with others<br \/>\nAbility to listen and communicate well both verbally and in writing<br \/>\nAbility to work independently<br \/>\nAttention to detail and accuracy<br \/>\nTo Apply: Email cover letter and CV:\u00a0<b>hr@tzprotect.org<\/b><\/p>\n<p>by August 22, 2018**.** Applicants must include the POSITION TITLE in the subject line of the email.
