Perform migration health assessments (medical exams) and complete related<br \/>\nmedical documentation of migrants referred for migration health assessment<br \/>\nin accordance with the resettlement countries\u2019 technical instructions and the<br \/>\nIOM Migration Health Assessment Guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>2. Provide technical supervision and monitoring of the management of pediatric<br \/>\ncases by IOM health personnel to ensure that the following activities are<br \/>\nperformed in accordance with the technical requirements of the resettlement<br \/>\ncountries such as: medical case registration, migration health assessments,<br \/>\nmedical forms transmission, medical treatment and follow-up programs, data<br \/>\nprocessing and management, pre-embarkation medical examination and<br \/>\nreport.<\/p>\n<p>3. To advise on proper history taking, examination of children, investigations and<br \/>\nreporting of pediatric cases refered by colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>4. Provide pediatric specialist consultation<\/p>\n<p>5. Review all pedriatric medical done by colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>6. Refer patients to other specialists for treatment as maybe required.<\/p>\n<p>7. Administer treatment and immunizations as per the receiving countries\u2019<br \/>\nrequirements.<\/p>\n<p>8. Perform pre-departure and pre-embarkation medical checks on all refugee<br \/>\nmigrants departing under IOM auspices, making sure they are fit to travel.<br \/>\n9. Ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting of all activities on the predeparture<br \/>\n(examinations, treatment, immunization), as per IOM standards and<br \/>\nas per the country of resettlement requirements.<br \/>\n10. Implement quality control standards and ensures confidentiality of individual<br \/>\nhealth information.<br \/>\n11. Assist in the analysis and technical elaboration of data gathered from the<br \/>\nmigration health assessment.<br \/>\n12. Coordinate with the local\/national health authorities, physicians, hospitals and<br \/>\nlaboratories, as needed.<br \/>\n13. Inform and consult with the Chief Medical Officer and the Chief of Mission of<br \/>\nIOM Tanzania on migration health issues and proposes corrective and<br \/>\nadjustment measures.<br \/>\n14. Assist in the preparation, and implementation of research activities related to<br \/>\nthe migration health, tuberculosis and sexually transmitted diseases.<br \/>\n15. Provide healthcare advice to IOM staff in the sub-office.<br \/>\n16. Undertake duty travel and medical escorting activities, be ready for relocation<br \/>\nof duty station to remote areas or refuge camps if needed.<br \/>\n17. Tanzania citizen.<br \/>\n2. Degree in Medicine \u2013 MBChB.<br \/>\n3. 3 years specialist training in paediatrics (MD)<br \/>\n4. Registered with the Tanzania Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.<br \/>\n5. Minimum of 2 years continuous professional working experience preferably with<br \/>\nexperience in migration health, immigration medical assessments, epidemiology<br \/>\nand\/or international public health.<br \/>\n6. Health sector experience in Africa.<br \/>\n7.
