Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in an airline\/travel industry. You will be service oriented with good interpersonal skills. Knowledge in IATA standard reservation\/ticketing procedures is required with fair knowledge of world geography and have proven experience with the Amadeus reservation system.<\/p>\n<p>Good interpersonal and communication skills in English\u00a0 along with knowledge of PC-based applications are also required.<\/p>\n<p>Note: you will be required to attach the following:<br \/>\n1. You will achieve, organise, control and monitor passenger sales targets and marketing goals of the company.<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>Specific accountabilities include:<\/b><br \/>\nDirecting and controlling all marketing and selling activities of the district and penetrate the local market to secure new sources of revenue<br \/>\nLiaising with Head Office Commercial and Planning staff to identify, review and recommend changes to tariffs\/revenue reports and recommend and implement changes to existing plans and operating budgets as per station requirements<br \/>\nEnsuring QR participation in sales campaigns and public events, collecting sales leads for dissemination to concerned departments and stations<br \/>\nEnsuring that product and promotional plans are understood and implemented to give greatest impact in the market<br \/>\nDistributing assignments, areas of responsibility and allocation of sales targets to Sales Executives<\/p>\n<p><b>About You:<\/b><br \/>\nTo be effective in this role, you will need a minimum of a Bachelors Degree with at least seven years of experience in a similar role.\u00a0 Five years experience in airline marketing is required. You will need to be a strong communicator with excellent influencing and negotiation capability.
