The particular staff will be centred in its head office allocated in Dar es Salaam Region<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- linkAD.2 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3390598296\" data-ad-format=\"link\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nJOB TITLE: QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER (1 POST \u2013 Renewable Fixed Contract)<br \/>\nREPORTS TO: CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER<br \/>\nPRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- linkAD.2 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3390598296\" data-ad-format=\"link\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nPromote and ensure achievement of quality and improvement of performance throughout<br \/>\nthe organization while ensuring compliance of the manufactured products with applicable<br \/>\nnational and international standards at all times.<\/p>\n<p>ACTIVITIES\/OUTPUTS<br \/>\n\u2022 Formulate, document, implement and manage QMS systems in line with ISO 9001 requirements<br \/>\nat Plasco.<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality management plan to align the<br \/>\nCompany\u2019s Quality Systems and Policies with QMS requirements as per international standards.<br \/>\n\u2022 Set up and maintain a modern laboratory for testing plastic raw materials and pipes at Plasco.<br \/>\n\u2022 Lead a team of laboratory technicians\/assistants and to ensure the tests and procedures are<br \/>\nproperly understood and carried out as per required procedures and international standards.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure manufacturing process monitoring systems are in place and being followed at all times.<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor process performance by gathering relevant data, analysis and presenting to<br \/>\nmanagement on a periodic basis as per ISO 9001 standards.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain and keep up-to-date the Quality Management System at Plasco Ltd.<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct Internal Audits according to ISO 9001 standards as per the schedule and report to<br \/>\nthe management.<br \/>\n\u2022 Liaise with staff of different disciplines and drive the group to plan, formulate and agree<br \/>\ncomprehensive quality assurance and management procedures.<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage and maintain the Company\u2019s quality inspection and product release programs for<br \/>\nincoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that QA compliance objectives and targets are achieved.<br \/>\n\u2022 Organize and manage the Quality Assurance function in close co-operation with the<br \/>\ncustomers and with the Company\u2019s Management.<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify relevant quality-related training needs and deliver the training.<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct periodic Management Review meetings as per ISO 9001 requirements.<br \/>\n\u2022 Oversee and manage customer complaints and product recalls with the aim of minimizing the<br \/>\nsame.<br \/>\n\u2022 Responsible for accurate and timely inspection\/calibration of monitoring and measuring<br \/>\ndevices in line with ISO 9001 requirements.<br \/>\n\u2022 Keep abreast with latest standards, regulations\/laws and technological developments with<br \/>\nrespect to Plastic pipe manufacturing, testing and installation processes and advise the<br \/>\nmanagement accordingly for appropriate action<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>THE PERSON<br \/>\n\u2022 Engineering Degree in Chemical &amp; Processing Engineering or related field.<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum 5- 7 years working experience in manufacturing industries in a Technical position.<br \/>\n\u2022 Extensive knowledge about the processing and testing of Plastic raw materials, HDPE &amp; UPVC<br \/>\nPipes and Fittings (Added advantage).<br \/>\n\u2022 Extensive knowledge in UPVC and HDPE pipe formulations and ability to develop new<br \/>\nformulations as per customer requirements and polymer compounding standards in corotating<br \/>\nand counter-rotating twin screw extruders.
