Senior Structural Engineer Key Qualifications\/Experience (One Position)\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n<b>1.1. Job Descriptions\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n(i.) Undertake preliminary, detailed design and design reviews of buildings, bridges, tunnels, drainage structures, etc.<br \/>\n(ii.) Preparation of engineering designs and review reports, and presentations of the same to stakeholders<br \/>\n(iii.) Site Inspections and lead teams of other structural engineers<\/p>\n<p><b>1.2. Minimum Experience and Qualifications\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum academic qualifications is BSc. Civil\/Structural Engineering. Masters Degree will be an added advantage<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum Work experience in design and supervision is ten (12) years, with at least five (7) years in design of structures, or five (5) years in design of bridges.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong oral and written communication skills along with the ability to work in a team environment, and presentations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Analytical, practical and results oriented<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Site Supervision of structural works (buildings, bridges, etc.), including attending project design meetings and coordination, etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Registered as a Professional Engineer by ERB or any other national professional body<br \/>\n\u2022 Understanding of Bridge Design Codes by using BS 5400, or AREMA, or AASHTO, or EURO Code, etc. is necessary.<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in Engineering Design applications such as PROKON, MIDAS, etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Basic knowledge in drafting by using AutoCAD.<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in design reviews<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>1.3. Remunerations\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n(i.) Salary to be paid will be in line with Company policy and level of competence of the successful applicant.<br \/>\n(ii.) Fully Serviced accommodation and transport shall be provided from one location to the other remote location throughout the project life.<\/p>\n<p><b>2. Assistant Structural Engineers (Three Positions)\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n<b>2.1 Job Description\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n(i.) Assist the team Structural engineer to undertake design reviews including design reports reviews, review of drawings, schedules, etc.<br \/>\n(ii.) Preparation of structural models using PROKON, MIDAS, or any other application that may be in use<br \/>\n(iii.) Undertake detailed designs of structures<br \/>\n(iv.) Site inspections of structures including bridges, buildings, tunnels, etc. and preparation of inspection reports. For a large infrastructure project, the work will involve travelling from one location to the other remote location throughout the project life.<\/p>\n<p><b>2.2 Minimum Experience and Qualifications\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum academic qualifications is BSc. Civil\/Structural Engineering. Masters Degree may be an added advantage<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum Work experience in design and supervision is eight (8) years, with at least five (3) years in design of structures, or two (2) years in design of bridges and or box culverts.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong oral and written communication skills along with the ability to work in a team environment, and presentations. \u2022 Analytical, practical and results oriented<br \/>\n\u2022 Site Supervision of structural works (buildings, bridges, etc.), etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Registered as a Professional Engineer by ERB or any other national professional body, qualified to be registered by ERB.<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in Engineering Design applications such as PROKON, MIDAS, etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Understanding of Design of Bridges by using BS 5400, or AREMA, or AASTHO or EURO Code. \u2022\u00a0Should be highly proficient in preparation of detailed drawings by using Auto CAD. 2.3<\/p>\n<p><b>Remunerations\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n(i.) Preparation of engineering designs and review reports, and presentations of the same to stakeholders<br \/>\n(iii.) Site Inspections and lead teams of other materials engineers<br \/>\n(iv.) Work in a large infrastructure project, involving travelling<\/p>\n<p><b>3.2 Minimum Experience and Qualifications\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum academic qualifications is BSc. Civil\/Structural Engineering. Masters Degree will be an added advantage<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum Work experience in design and supervision is fifteen (15) years, with at least five (5) years in design of pavements and earthworks, including bituminous pavements.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong oral and written communication skills along with the ability to work in a team environment, and presentations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Analytical, practical and results oriented<br \/>\n\u2022 Site Supervision of infrastructure projects (materials, pavements, etc.), etc. \u2022 Registered as a Professional Engineer by ERB or any other national professional body, qualified to be registered by ERB.<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in Engineering Design applications.<br \/>\n\u2022 Understanding of Design of Pavements by using Pavement and Materials Design Manual prepared by Tanzania Ministry of Works, AASHTO, PCI, etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in laboratory work and laboratory supervision works<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in planning and execution of field tests, and laboratory tests,<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in Quarry and Borrow Pits Investigations<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in preparation of factual reports<br \/>\n\u2022 Should be skilled in preparation of drawings by using Auto CAD.<\/p>\n<p><b>3.3 Remunerations<\/b><br \/>\n(i.) Salary to be paid will be in line with Company policy and level of competence of the successful applicant.<br \/>\n(ii.) Fully serviced accommodation and transport shall be provided<\/p>\n<p><b>4. Resident Engineer (Building Works)\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n<b>4.1 Job Description\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n(i.) Provide project leadership including point of liaison between the Client and Project teams, Contractor&#8217;s and other key stakeholders.<br \/>\n(ii.) Administer the construction contract in line with Works Contract Conditions of Contract<br \/>\n(iii.) Other tasks necessary for successful execution and completion of the project<br \/>\n(iv.) Project location will be in Dar Es Salaam<\/p>\n<p><b>4.2 Minimum Experience and Qualifications\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum academic qualifications is BSc. Civil\/Structural Engineering. Masters Degree will be an added advantage<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum Work experience in design and supervision is fifteen (15) years, with at least ten (10) years in supervision of building projects as a Resident Engineer.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong oral and written communication skills along with the ability to work in a team environment, and presentations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Analytical, practical and results oriented<br \/>\n\u2022 Registered as a Professional Engineer by ERB or any other equivalent professional body.<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in Engineering Designs<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in projects scope, costs and time control<\/p>\n<p><b>4.3 Remunerations\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n(i.) Salary to be paid will be in line with Company policy and level of competence of the successful applicant.<br \/>\n(ii.) Fully serviced accommodation and transport shall be provided<\/p>\n<p><b>5. Assistant Geotechnical Engineer\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n<b>5.1 Job Description\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n(i.) Undertake preliminary. detailed design and design reviews of geotechnical and foundation engineering works<br \/>\n(ii.) Preparation of geotechnical engineering designs and review reports, and presentations of the same to stakeholders<br \/>\n(iii.) Field Inspections of geotechnical works including foundations, tunnel works, etc.<br \/>\n(iv.) Work in a large infrastructure project, involving travelling from one location to other remote locations throughout the project life estimated at two (2) years.<\/p>\n<p><b>5.2 Minimum Experience and Qualifications\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum academic qualifications is BSc. Ground\/Geotechnical Engineering. Masters Degree will be an added advantage<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum Work experience in design and supervision of geotechnical engineering works seven (7) years.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong oral and written communication skills along with the ability to work in a team environment, and presentations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Registered as a Professional Engineer by ERB or any other national professional body, or qualified to be registered by ERB.<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in preparation of factual reports<br \/>\n\u2022 Should be skilled in preparation of drawings by using AutoCAD.<\/p>\n<p><b>5.3 Remunerations\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\n(i.)
