SLES is seeking to recruit competent, committed and self-motivated candidates to fill the following positions;<\/p>\n<p>Fleet and Warehouse Operations Department<br \/>\n<b>Position: Fleet Operations Manager\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\nLocation: Dar es Salaam<br \/>\nReporting to: Director-Projects<\/p>\n<p>As part of the supply chain process, Fleet Operations Manager will be responsible for a full range of fleet administrative activities in accordance with requirement of the law and company objective.<\/p>\n<p><b>Specific Duties and Responsibilities;\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement standard operational standards to maintain vehicles by advocating best practices in industry.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and prepare annual budget, expenditures and analyze all financial objectives, provide direction to department staff to regulate budget cycle requirements and control budgeting process.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee routine and ad hoc maintenance, obtain registrations for new vehicles and renew old ones to ensure schedule fleet management.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and ensure fleet operation in compliance with company and Government rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Advice on fleet management and structures and staffing levels to ensure that they are at all times adequate to meet the requirements of the department plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Academic Qualifications and Experience\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\nThe ideal candidate for this position should have the following education and experience:<\/p>\n<p>i. Associate degree in Transport Logistic or Procurement or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.<br \/>\nii. Proficient user of IT systems<br \/>\niii. Background of mechanical knowledge would be highly added advantage<br \/>\niv. Not less than five (5) years relevant work experience in logistics operations.<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3464335665\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<b>Position: Warehouse Operations Manager\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\nLocation: Dar Es Salaam<br \/>\nReporting to: Director- Projects<\/p>\n<p>As part of the supply chain process, Warehouse Manager will be assigned to oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods in compliance with company&#8217;s policies and vision.<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>Specific Duties and Responsibilities;\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations<\/li>\n<li>Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN\/OUT status report, remaining stock report and keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate.<\/li>\n<li>Realizes financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.<\/li>\n<li>Planning future capacity requirements receive feedback from other units\/departments and monitor the quality of services provided.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Academic Qualifications and Experience\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\nThe ideal candidate for this position should have the following education and experience:<\/p>\n<p>i. A bachelor degree in procurement or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.<br \/>\nii. Must be registered with professional board<br \/>\niii. Not less than five (5) years relevant work experience in warehouse operations.<\/p>\n<p><b>PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES.<\/b><br \/>\nIn addition to the above skills and qualifications, applicants for the above positions are required to have the following attributes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to self-manage, attain objectives and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>A very high level of integrity, honest and sense of accountability<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and produce expected results.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>TENURE AND REMUNERATION\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\nA competitive salary will be offered to the right candidate for the posts.
