Title of position: Assistant Information Technology Officer<br \/>\n(Computer Systems Security and Network Administration)<\/b><br \/>\n(One Post)<br \/>\nScope of the position:<br \/>\nThe holder of this position is responsible for effective provision,<br \/>\ninstallation\/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware,<br \/>\nsoftware and the related infrastructure in Tanga UWASA. The Assistant<br \/>\nInformation Technology Officer oversees and ensures the security of all missioncritical<br \/>\nsystems. He\/She is responsible for the ICT systems security and ensures<br \/>\nthe systems and the related procedures adhere to organizational guidelines.<br \/>\nPosition relationships: Reports to the Information Technology Officer -Systems Administration<br \/>\nSupervises the Information Technology Technician<br \/>\nKey duties and responsibilities:<br \/>\n1. Configures, implement and maintain WAN and LAN infrastructure to ensure<br \/>\nnetwork connectivity throughout the network infrastructure;<br \/>\n2. Title of position: Drivers II (Two posts)<\/b><br \/>\nScope of the position: The holder of this position will be responsible for safely driving and efficient<br \/>\nmaintenance of the Authority\u2019s vehicles by observing and adhering to vehicle\u00a0maintenance schedule, and proper keeping of fuel reports.<br \/>\nPosition relationships: Reports to the Human Resources Officer<br \/>\nKey duties and responsibilities:<br \/>\n1. To handle and drive the assigned vehicle for official duties within or outside<br \/>\nTanga City and observes all rules and guidelines according to the legal and<br \/>\ntraffic requirements;<br \/>\n2. Ensures that the vehicle is in good and safe working condition prior to use;<br \/>\n3. Ensures the vehicle is consistently clean in a manner which is consistent with<br \/>\nthe Authority\u2019s image;<br \/>\n4. Maintains and keep up to date log books and submit to the supervisor every<br \/>\nday for inspection;<br \/>\n5. Updates all vehicle documents such as car registration, insurance cover, motor<br \/>\nvehicle license, etc;<br \/>\n6. Carries out minor vehicle repairs and other emergency activities during road<br \/>\nbreakdowns and report any damage or mechanical malfunctions for<br \/>\nappropriate action;<br \/>\n7. Makes sure the vehicle is maintained and services are carried as scheduled;<br \/>\n8. Implements administrative duties such as collecting and delivering<br \/>\ndocuments, parcels, mails as directed by the supervisor;<br \/>\n9. Title of position: Sewerage Network Artisan (Three Positions)<\/b><br \/>\nScope of the position The holder of this position is responsible for the Authority\u2019s sewerage network<br \/>\nroutine activities which among other issues include the surveillance, repair and<br \/>\nmaintenance of the sewerage network.<br \/>\nWorking relationships: Reports to : Reports to the Sewerage Network Technician<br \/>\nKey duties and responsibilities:<br \/>\n1. Carries out inspection of the network with the aim of detecting faults in<br \/>\naccordance with instructions of the Sewerage Network Engineer;<br \/>\n2. Carries out routine maintenance work of the network in accordance with the<br \/>\nlaid procedures in the section;<br \/>\n3. Checks for sabotage\/misuse of sewerage network infrastructures, and inform<br \/>\nthe immediate supervisor accordingly;<br \/>\n4.
