The incumbents will<br \/>\nbe responsible for operationalization of the Leather Industries project and<br \/>\nimplementation of short and long-term strategic plans of the Company.<br \/>\nThe Company is looking for an energetic, dynamic and proactive Tanzanians to fill<br \/>\nthe following vacant positions:-<\/p>\n<p><b>1.0 MANAGING DIRECTOR (Re Advertisement)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1.1 REPORTING RELATIONSHIP<br \/>\nThe Managing Director will be reporting to the Board of Directors of the<br \/>\nCompany.<\/p>\n<p>1.2 JOB PURPOSE<br \/>\nThe Managing Director will be responsible for the overall management of the<br \/>\nleather industries project including implementation of short and long term<br \/>\nstrategic plans, oversee general business operations of the Company and<br \/>\nmanage financial, physical resources and human resource. From time to time<br \/>\nthe Managing Director will collaborate with experts from the country and<br \/>\nabroad in expediting various projects such as installation of factory equipment<br \/>\nand any other necessary undertakings.<\/p>\n<p>1.3 JOB SPECIFICATIONS<br \/>\nThe Managing Director will be a holder of a Masters Degree in Industrial<br \/>\nEngineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Public<br \/>\nAdministration or related fields from a recognized institution and shall have<br \/>\nat least 10 years\u2019 working experience. Working experience and<br \/>\nqualifications in the leather industry or industrial related works is an added<br \/>\nadvantage. This includes making sure that all goods that<br \/>\nare produced in the factories meets the customers\u2019 satisfaction, in terms of<br \/>\nquality, time, quantity and ethical standards. The Production Manager will also<br \/>\noversee the production processes; communicate with suppliers about the<br \/>\nquality, price and delivery time. He\/she will be responsible for planning<br \/>\ncoordination and control of manufacturing process.<\/p>\n<p>3.3 JOB SPECIFICATIONS<br \/>\nThe Production Manager will be a holder of a Bachelor Degree in<br \/>\nManufacturing\/ Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical<br \/>\nEngineering or Chemical and Processing Engineering and a Holder of<br \/>\nMaster Degree in business related field. He\/She shall have at least Seven<br \/>\n(7) years\u2019 experience in the leather or manufacturing industry.<br \/>\nThe incumbent will be innovative, self-driven with good business analytical<br \/>\nskills, computer literacy and strong communication skills (verbal and<br \/>\nwritten)<\/p>\n<p>3.4 KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\n(i) Oversee production processes<br \/>\n(ii) Plan and organize production schedules<br \/>\n(iii) Assess project and resource requirement<br \/>\n(iv) Estimate, negotiate and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients<br \/>\nand managers<br \/>\n(v) Ensure that health and safety regulations in the Leather production<br \/>\nprocess are met<br \/>\n(vi) Monitor production process and determine quality control standards<br \/>\n(vii) Re-negotiating timescales or schedules with various suppliers\/Clients<br \/>\nwhen necessary<br \/>\n(viii) Supervise selection, ordering and purchasing of the required materials<br \/>\n(ix) Organize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment<br \/>\n(x) Organize relevant training sessions for the production activities, and<br \/>\n(xi) Oversees activities of the Engineering department<br \/>\n3.5 REMUNERATION<br \/>\nAttractive package commensurate with one\u2019s qualification awaits the<br \/>\nsuccessful candidate<\/p>\n<p><b>4.0 MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER<\/b><\/p>\n<p>4.1 REPORTING RELATIONSHIP<br \/>\nThe Marketing and Public Relations officer will be reporting to the Head of<br \/>\nMarketing Department<\/p>\n<p>4.2 JOB PURPOSE<\/p>\n<p>The Marketing and Public Relations officer will be responsible for the<br \/>\nCompany\u2019s marketing and public relations campaigns and plays a key part in<br \/>\ncommunicating the organization marketing message. The Marketing and Public<br \/>\nRelations officer will also be responsible for defining clear channels of<br \/>\ndistribution for the finished goods, including searching for the wholesale buyers<br \/>\nof the finished goods from the industries;-<\/p>\n<p>4.3 JOB SPECIFICATIONS<br \/>\nThe Marketing and Public Relations officer should be a holder of a Bachelor<br \/>\nDegree in Marketing and\/or Public Relations and shall have at least five (5)<br \/>\nyears\u2019 working experience in the marketing or Public Relations field. Working<br \/>\nexperience and qualifications in the leather industry or industrial related works is<br \/>\nan added advantage. He\/ she is<br \/>\nexpected to help the Company to accomplish its objectives by bringing a<br \/>\nsystematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk<br \/>\nmanagement, control, and governance processes.<\/p>\n<p>5.3 JOB SPECIFICATIONS<br \/>\nThe Manager Internal Audit should be a holder of a Masters Degree in Business<br \/>\nAdministration, or relevant field. He\/she should be registered with NBAA as<br \/>\nCPA (T) and shall have at least seven (7) years\u2019 working experience in the audit<br \/>\nfield. Working experience and qualifications in industrial related works is an added advantage. Procurement<br \/>\nand Logistic Officer will play a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for the Company. He\/She will also be responsible for<br \/>\nmaintaining a list of inventories and incoming purchases and supplies.<\/p>\n<p>6.3 JOB SPECIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>The procurement Officer should be a holder of a Bachelor Degree in Business<br \/>\nAdministration, Procurement and Logistic Management or any other Bachelor<br \/>\nDegree in procurement related field. He\/She should be registered with the<br \/>\nProcurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB) as<br \/>\nauthorized supplies officer and shall have at least five (5) years\u2019 working<br \/>\nexperience in procurement field. Working experience and qualifications in<br \/>\nindustrial related works is an added advantage.
