DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n<p>i. Designs and maintains an effective and efficient stores record keeping system<\/p>\n<p>ii. Coordinates with user &#8211; departments on matters relating to office supplies and stores<\/p>\n<p>iii. Collects quotations from various suppliers<\/p>\n<p>iv. Purchases and receives stock items<\/p>\n<p>v. Writes and issues authorized purchase orders,<\/p>\n<p>vi. Inspects and checks stock items<\/p>\n<p>vii. Participates in annual stock taking<\/p>\n<p>viii. Ensures compliance with the Public Procurement and other relevant regulations<\/p>\n<p>ix. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by Head of Accounts and Administration<\/p>\n<p><b>B. KEY QUALIFICATIONS:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>i. Must be Tanzanian Citizen<\/p>\n<p>ii. Holder of an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor (Degree) in Procurement\/ Supplies Management from recognized Higher Learning Institution<\/p>\n<p>iii. Must be registered with Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB)<\/p>\n<p>iv. Must be a computer literate<\/p>\n<p>v. Not above 35 years of age<\/p>\n<p>vi. Must have at least 3 years\u2019 experience in the same field from a reputable Organization<\/p>\n<p>vii. Fluent in both Kiswahili and English<\/p>\n<p><b>REMUNERATIONS:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Competitive remuneration will be offered to successful candidates for the above positions as per TANROADS guidelines.<\/p>\n<p><b>GENERAL CONDITION&#8217;S<\/b><\/p>\n<p>a.
