Temeke District in Dar es Salaam.<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3464335665\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title: Assistant Lecturer (3 posts)\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\nArea of Specialization<br \/>\n(i) Faculty of Education<br \/>\nEducation (Literature Teaching Methods) (1 post)<br \/>\nApplicant must be a holder of MEd, or MA(Ed) with at least a GPA of 4.0 out of 5 and a Minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5 or its equivalent with a Minimum score of B+ or its equivalent in Literature Subject in the First Degree.<\/p>\n<p>(ii) Faculty of Science<br \/>\n\u2022 Pure\/Applied Mathematics (1 post)<br \/>\n\u2022 Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry) (1 post)<\/p>\n<p>(a) Qualifications:<br \/>\nApplicant must be a holder of Master&#8217;s Degree in a relevant field with at least a GPA of 4.0 out of 5 and a Minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5 or its equivalent with a Minimum score of By or its equivalent in the Relevant Subject in the First Degree.<\/p>\n<p>(b) Duties and Responsibilities:<br \/>\n(i) To undergo an induction course in pedagogic skills for those who had none before;<br \/>\n(ii) To carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practical for undergraduate programmes;<br \/>\n(iii) To prepare and present case studies;<br \/>\n(iv) To conduct and publish\/ disseminate research results; (v) To recognize students having difficulties, intervene and provide help and support: (vi) To participate in consultancies and community services under supervision; (vii) To attend workshops, conferences and symposia, and<br \/>\n(viii) To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the relevant authorities.<\/p>\n<p>(c) Salary Scale: PUTS 2.1<\/p>\n<p>NOTE:<br \/>\n(i) All applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania;<br \/>\n(ii) Women are encouraged to apply;<br \/>\n(iii) Applicants who are in Public Service should channel their applications through their employers;<br \/>\n(iv) Testimonials, Partial Transcripts and Result Slips shall not be accepted;<br \/>\n(v) Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the Curriculum Vitae shall necessitate legal action;<br \/>\n(vi) Certificates from foreign examination bodies for ordinary and advanced level of secondary education should be certified by the National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA);<br \/>\n(vii) Certificates from foreign Universities should be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU), and; (viii) Only shortlisted candidates will be informed on the date of interview.<\/p>\n<p><b>MODE OF APPLICATION\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- linkAD.2 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3390598296\" data-ad-format=\"link\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>Applicants should submit handwritten applications with the following:<\/p>\n<p>Resume\/Curriculum Vitae having reliable contact postal address, e-mail address and telephone numbers;<br \/>\nTwo recent passport size photos.
