BRAC in Tanzania is seeking application from competent, dynamic and self-motivated individuals to fill up the following position:<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>Position (1): Insurance Officer<\/b><br \/>\nJob Location: Country Office, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>Job Responsibilities:<\/b><br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3464335665\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nPlaying as key link between Country office, Insurance Company and field offices in Credit Life Insurance contracts.<br \/>\nCollecting necessary information needed by insurance Company e.g Dead members, outstanding loan balances, reason for death and other related information required to be filled in Insurance Claim form.<br \/>\nEnsure claim forms are filled in a required manner, submitted on time to Insurance Company, claims are recorded in Company records and recovery are followed, monitored and accounted appropriately.<br \/>\nRecording transactions related to Insurance arrangement including claims, recovery, write off (if any) or provisions in the accounting system.<br \/>\nCooperate with other staff in the Accounts department and programs in getting things done especially on reducing Portfolio at Risk (PAR) balance caused by death, enhance Compliance and smooth running of the Company.<br \/>\nEnsuring that insurance premium is deducted from borrowers and posted to our accounts through Field accountants.<br \/>\nEnsuring that insurance premium is paid to the insurance company and the commission for BRAC deducted accordingly before the premium is remitted as per the agreement.<br \/>\nPerform other duties as assigned by supervisors Required qualifications and experience:<br \/>\n\u2022 Bachelor degree in Banking and Insurance with experience of two years;<br \/>\n\u2022 Competent in Insurance claims cycle including understanding, procedures and follow up on recovery from insurance Company under Life assurance policies.<br \/>\n\u2022 Equipped with necessary skills on claims estimate, submission to insurance companies and compliance environment as per market regulator<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- linkAD.2 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3390598296\" data-ad-format=\"link\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>If you feel you are the right match for above mentioned position, please apply to HRD, BRAC Tanzania Finance Ltd, Plot #2329, Block-H, Mbezi Beach, Dar Es Salaam or through email to <b>recruitment.tanzania@brac.net<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Application deadline is 31.01.2018.
