This position will report to the Financial Accountant.<\/p>\n<p>Key responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Processing of payments including review of supporting documents for reasonability and completeness<br \/>\nAccurate data entry into the Financial Information System (iScala) and timely filling of all financial documents<br \/>\nCash management including bank balances and petty cash, monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations, cash replenishment and review of petty cash requests<br \/>\nDisbursement of payments to suppliers and reconciliation of payables and receivables<br \/>\nRaise receipts for cash received and deposits<br \/>\nPerform all Bank agent duties<br \/>\nTimely preparation, reconciliation, payment and submission of various statutory obligation.<br \/>\nGenerate and dispatch Rental invoices to tenants on quarterly basis, and booking of all rental income received.<br \/>\nManagement of staff advances and accountabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications required.<\/p>\n<p>A diploma\/Advanced diploma in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification<br \/>\nA minimum of 1 year experience preferably with a development agency or a non-government organization<br \/>\nProficieny in an accounting package, preferably in iScala would be an advantage<br \/>\nComputer literate with full command over excel<br \/>\nGood spoken and written English.<\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates should submit a cover letter quoting the title of the position, a CV and the names and contact information of three referees (at least two of which must be professional) before the close of business on January 26, 2018, by e-mail to recruit.akftz@akdn.org or to<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- linkAD.2 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3390598296\" data-ad-format=\"link\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>Aga Khan Foundation,<br \/>\nTanzania Office,<br \/>\nP.0 Box 125,<br \/>\nDar es Salaam, Tanzania.<\/p>\n<p>Please quote the title of the position applied for in the e-mail subject line or on the application envelope.
