School of Pharmacy<br \/>\n1. Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) in<br \/>\na. Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy<br \/>\nb. Pharmaceutical Microbiology<br \/>\nEligibility:<br \/>\nApplicants should have BPharm degrees from recognized Universities with minimum<br \/>\ncumulative GPA of 2.7<br \/>\n2. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in fields related to<br \/>\na. Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy<br \/>\nb. Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics<br \/>\nc. Pharmaceutical Microbiology<br \/>\nEligibility:<br \/>\nApplicants should be academic staff at Universities and must be holders of Master<br \/>\ndegrees in the relevant fields from recognized Universities, with minimum cumulative<br \/>\nGPA of 4.0 at Master degree level. Applications are also welcome from individuals with<br \/>\nMaster degrees in the specified areas who aspire to become academic members ofstaff at<br \/>\nuniversities.<br \/>\nB. Institute of Traditional Medicine:<br \/>\n1. Master of Science in Traditional Medicines Development (MSc Trad Meds<br \/>\nDevelopment)<br \/>\nEligibility:<br \/>\nGraduates from recognized Universities with minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 at<br \/>\nundergraduate level who are holders of a BPharm degree or its equivalent, or BSc degree<br \/>\nin Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Nutrition, or Chemical<br \/>\nengineering.<br \/>\n2<br \/>\n2. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in fields related to<br \/>\na. Traditional Medicines development<br \/>\nb. Phytomedicine.<br \/>\nEligibility:<br \/>\nApplicants should be academic staff at Universities and must be holders of Master<br \/>\ndegrees in the relevant fields from recognized Universities, with minimum cumulative<br \/>\nGPA of 4.0 at Master degree level. Applications are also welcome from individuals with<br \/>\nMaster degrees in the specified areas who aspire to become academic members ofstaff at<br \/>\nuniversities.<br \/>\nEach applicant in all the above-mentioned programmes must satisfy all the general requirements<br \/>\nset out under the regulations for a Master or PhD degree of the Muhimbili University of Health<br \/>\nand Allied Sciences as indicated in the University Postgraduate Prospectus.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"httpss:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/clinical-and-public-health-research-fellowships-for-international-students-in-india-2018\/\">Clinical and Public Health Research Fellowships for International Students in India, 2018-APPLY NOW<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:<br \/>\n\uf0b7 All applicants must have completed their last university degree not more than 6 years at<br \/>\nthe time of submitting their applications.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 PhD proposals\u2019 relevance to development: PhD applicants must submit research<br \/>\nproposals as full proposals which demonstrate relevance to development and originality<br \/>\nof the research work being proposed. Plagiarism in submitted proposals will not be<br \/>\ntolerated and will disqualify an applicant from the scholarship. The Proposals,<br \/>\ntogether with detailed study plan, must be submitted in \u201cword document\u201d format.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Duration and commencement: Scholarships will begin in September 2018 and are<br \/>\navailable for up to a maximum of two years (Master) and three years (PhD), respectively.<br \/>\nThe scholarship will be initially granted for one year and may be extended upon<br \/>\nindividual request and receipt of a satisfactory progress report and complete application<br \/>\nby using the provided form.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Equal opportunities: Female candidates and candidates from less privileged regions or<br \/>\ngroups as well as candidates with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Similarly,<br \/>\ncandidates who are not Tanzanians are also strongly encouraged to apply.<br \/>\nThe applicant must provide:<br \/>\n1. A duly completed Postgraduate Application Form MUHAS\/PG.F1 (for Master degree<br \/>\napplicants) or MUHAS\/PG.F9 (for PhD applicants), both available at httpss\/\/www.muhas.ac.tz\/<br \/>\n2. An up-to-date detailed curriculum vitae.<br \/>\n3. His\/her ordinary level secondary education, advanced level secondary education and<br \/>\nundergraduate certificates and academic transcripts. Applicants for PhD degree must also<br \/>\nprovide Master degree certificates and academic transcripts.<br \/>\n4. Internship certificate where relevant.<br \/>\n5. Birth certificate.<br \/>\n6. Full research proposal and study plan for PhD applicants.<br \/>\n7. Two names of referees who must be academicians\/professionals and must provide written<br \/>\nrecommendation (MUHAS\/PG.F2).<br \/>\n8. A letter from the employershowing readinessto release the employee (applicant) forstudies.<br \/>\n9. A receipt for a non\u2013refundable application fee of TShs 100,000\/= for localstudents and US$<br \/>\n50 for foreign students paid to the University (Bank accounts for local and foreign students<br \/>\nare indicated on MUHAS.PG.F1).<br \/>\n3<br \/>\nHard copies of completed forms must be sent to MUHAS through the Director for<br \/>\nPostgraduate Studies, Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, P.O. Box 65001,<br \/>\nDAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA.
