Forty thousand young people around the world have been transformed through CWY\u2019s world-renowned global reciprocal exchange programs and YCI\u2019s youth innovation initiatives, proving young people can lead real change in global health, the environment, and youth livelihoods.<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The HUB Coordinator, reporting to the Country Manager, will provide leadership and management for the local HUB and its associated activities. S\/he will support activities to build partner and youth capacity in livelihood development. S\/he will establish and maintain positive, collaborative and productive relationships with project staff, implementing partners, youth participants and volunteers.<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3464335665\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Provide leadership and management for the coordination and delivery of HUB activities<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Management of and support to teams of Canadian volunteers<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Monitor annual work plans and ensure compliance<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ensure preparation and submission of project activity reports<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Provide guidance to the HUB staff regarding tools and strategies to ensure that programming is responsive to youth and volunteer needs<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ensure program quality through implementation of country-specific project review systems and comprehensive M&amp;E systems<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Develop and maintain relationship with Canadian foreign missions<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Remain well-informed about national and regional issues affecting youth<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Support the development and update of sector strategies in relevant areas of programming<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Provide support to ensure that activities are meeting their goals and targets, recommend program adjustments when necessary to keep the project on track<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Support training and supervision of HUB staff and volunteer teams<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Coordinate training activities for youth<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Coordination of and support to HUB Network<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Coordinate orientation training for Canadian volunteers<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Perform other duties as delegated by the Country Manager<\/p>\n<p><b>QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 University degree<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible leadership and coordination experience<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Understanding of and compatible vision for effective community development with a focus on networking and training delivery<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ability to work with and through partners<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Passion for working with youth; an understanding of the current situation for young people<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Comfort with linking work to a range of stakeholders, including civil authorities, community group leaders, donors, private sector and other international NGOs on initiatives<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Experience with current approaches to adult learning and participatory methods for M&amp;E<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Proven ability to develop and monitor work plans and training plans<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Demonstrated mentoring abilities and experience supporting peers<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Strong interpersonal and communication skills<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Strong verbal and written English skills required<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Applicant must be citizen of Tanzania<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- linkAD.2 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3390598296\" data-ad-format=\"link\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>How to apply:<\/p>\n<p>Deadline to apply: Friday, January 19th, 2018 at 5pm EST.
