distribution and expansion; marketing initiatives and budgets of NMB\u2019s entire agent network at the zone.<br \/>\nLiaising with branch managers on identification of the new prospective agents in the zone while ensure compliance of KYC as per regulation and business requirements.<br \/>\nAcquire new business opportunities, initiate business cases and product concepts for value added services on agency banking, and seek necessary approvals from within the bank.<br \/>\nAgent relationship management &amp; business development of direct and indirect channel model of NMB wakala in the zone.<br \/>\nManaging training of agents, staff and field team on products and troubleshooting of agency banking tools as well as agents disputes.<br \/>\nManagement of agency banking representatives and assign goals to branches and field team by product, and generate necessary reports for performance reviews to ensure quality support services to NMB wakalas.<br \/>\nMonitoring the market very closely for dynamics on customer behaviour, competition, policies, compliance and regulations.<br \/>\nSupporting other business units for cash transaction solutions using customized agency banking models.<br \/>\nCoordinate branding activities between Head office, marketing and zone related to NMB wakala branding, marketing and market intelligence as part of business development.<br \/>\nPeriodic visit the regions in the zones ensure correct implementations of agency banking strategies, policies and compliance also to monitor performance and evaluation of branches and field team KPIs.<br \/>\nSupervising zone\u2019s agency banking representatives on their day to day activities and targets.<\/p>\n<p>Attributes<\/p>\n<p>Business acumen.<br \/>\nAgency network growth and support.<br \/>\nSales and commercial acumen.<br \/>\nReporting skills and data presentations.<br \/>\nStrong negotiations skills<br \/>\nPeople management skills.<br \/>\nProven strong interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n<p>University Degree\/ Advanced Diploma in field of banking, finance or business related field.<br \/>\nMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in the banking industry, Mobile Network Operator (MNO), or agency network operations.<br \/>\nPrior exposure to field operations on agent network institutions\/ FMCG sales\/ direct sales operations will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"httpsss:\/\/www.nmbbank.co.tz\/careers\/job-search\/opening\/96#apply-form\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Location: Head Office<\/p>\n<p>Deadline:2018-01-05<br \/>\n============<\/p>\n<p><b>Manager; Custody Securities Services Operations<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Job Purpose<br \/>\nAssist Senior Manager, Custody services in achieving the department\u2019s goals by ensuring that a cost effective, high quality service is provided to our customers by effectively controlling tasks within the custody services section.<\/p>\n<p>Main Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Responsible for actual accurate settlements of cash, securities (Equities, Fixed Income and Money Market instruments) while ensuring that all settlements are settled in convention with the market rules, directives and procedures.<br \/>\nDeal with clients telephonically, via SWIFT and e-mail and ensure all transactions are settled according to clients\u2019 SLA and relevant systems updated accordingly.<br \/>\nEnsure all settlements procedures are complied with in accordance with procedure manual.<br \/>\nAction all instructions in settlement module, receive deliver windows, cancellation windows and rejection window in the custody securities system and cash transactions in the core banking system.<br \/>\nFollow up on all failed trades until cancelled.<br \/>\nSafeguard all manual controls are followed to ensure no fall outs in processing and excess(overdrafts) management.<br \/>\nGuarantee relationship and services issues raised by clients are brought to the attention of Senior Manager Custody Services.<br \/>\nUnderstand and manage risks associated with the area of responsibility and its impact on the bank.<br \/>\nContinuously improve service offerings through innovation and a future orientation towards automation.<br \/>\nMake sure service is provided in accordance to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards.<br \/>\nEnsure queries are responded to within 24 hour turn-around times and adequate resolution and follow through.<br \/>\nGuarantee holding response is provided to client queries that have not resolved on time and provide constant updates until resolved.<br \/>\nAdhere to formalized back-up procedures, and sign-off is affected by respective parties.<br \/>\nProvision of a high quality and cost effective service to both internal and external clients by accurately analyzing the clients\u2019 needs and market demands in order to define business requirements.<br \/>\nAction all aspects relating to settlement of all securities within the required timelines of the market rules and directives and clients SLA to prevent any penalties or reputational damage levied against the bank.<br \/>\nResponsible for implementation and adoption of all compliance, anti-money laundering and sanctions related requirements contained in policies, procedures and processes.<\/p>\n<p>Attributes<\/p>\n<p>Ability to learn new systems\/processes and to grasp instructions quickly.<br \/>\nHigh level of accuracy and attention to details.<br \/>\nGood communication and inter-personal skills.<br \/>\nExcellent time management problem solving skills.<br \/>\nGood planning and organizational skills.<br \/>\nCreative thinking and dynamic.<br \/>\nPositive attitude.<br \/>\nProactive and self-motivated.<br \/>\nSelf-starter, confident and assertive.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor degree from reputable university, with major in finance or business related studies.<br \/>\nFour years\u2019 experience in custody services and well experienced in handling;
