SCP is seeking an experienced store keeper\/administrative assistant to efficiently manage the workshop and project stores and undertake basic office administrative duties.<br \/>\nFrankfurt Zoological Society<br \/>\nFrankfurt Zoological Society (FZS) conserves wildlife and ecosystems in protected areas and outstanding wild places. FZS maintains long-term conservation programmes in Africa, South America, Asia and Europe. The Africa Programme is the Society\u2019s largest and oldest and works with partners in four focal countries: Tanzania, Ethiopia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. For more information on the Society and our projects, please visit our website at www.fzs.org.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>Job Title: Store Keeper \/ Administrator<\/div>\n<div>Reporting: Reports to the SCP Workshop Manager and Project Leader.<br \/>\nLocation: Matambwe, Selous Game Reserve<\/div>\n<div>Purpose: To efficiently and effectively manage the FZS SCP stores and provide administrative project support.<\/div>\n<div>Responsibilities:<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Maintain detailed records of the workshop stock register (entering all receipts, issues and balance of materials)<br \/>\n\u2022 Undertake regular physical check on quantity of materials in spare &amp; tool store, and reconcile the stock on bin-cards and in computer software<br \/>\n\u2022 Check and control losses due to theft and leakage<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain workshop job card records<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain minimum stock balances of spares, oil and other consumables<br \/>\n\u2022 Prevent unauthorized personnel entering stores and tools area<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain and keep a proper record of workshop tools and other project equipment<br \/>\n\u2022 Supply weekly and monthly reports on spare stock, repair on vehicles and tools<br \/>\n\u2022 Keep good contact with suppliers of spares etc., and arrange for quotations from supplier when needed<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain cleanliness and order in the stores<br \/>\n\u2022 Support SCP management team in maintaining the project asset register and fund balances<br \/>\n\u2022 Basic project administrative duties as required, e.g. filing, compiling reports<\/div>\n<div>Requirements:<\/div>\n<div>a. Qualifications and experience \u2013 essential:<br \/>\n\u2022 Diploma qualification in administration, storekeeping, accounting or similar<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role<br \/>\n\u2022 English report writing experience<br \/>\n\u2022 Familiar with MS Office, in particular Excel<br \/>\n\u2022 Good spoken and written English and Swahili<\/div>\n<div>b. Qualifications and experience \u2013 desired:<br \/>\n\u2022 Vehicle Workshop stores management experience<br \/>\n\u2022 Cashier experience<br \/>\n\u2022 Database data entry and management experience an advantage<\/div>\n<div>c.
