The Contract period is 36 months including Defects Liability Period of 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>The Regional Manager\u2019s Office TANROADS \u2013 Arusha, on behalf of the Chief Executive, TANROADS, intends to recruit qualified and competent Staff to fill the following vacant posts on specific duties short-terms contracts within the Region.<\/p>\n<p>Successful applicants must be ready to work for considerable lengths of time in Loliondo District within the project area if situations warrants.<\/p>\n<p>1.0: POSITION TITTLE: HIGHWAY ENGINEER (1 POST)<\/p>\n<p>Educational\/Professional qualifications:-<\/p>\n<p>Must have a Bachelor Degree in civil or highway engineering or equivalent from any recognized Higher Learning Institution\/ colleges;<br \/>\nRegistered as Professional Engineer with ERB<br \/>\nA postgraduate qualification in highway engineering and experience in contract administration under FIDIC\/PPRA Condition of contract is an added advantage<br \/>\nA National Form IV\/VI certificate;<br \/>\nComputer literate;<br \/>\nWork Experience:<\/p>\n<p>At least 10years cumulative experience related to road design and construction;<br \/>\nServed Similar Capacity for at least Three (3) project for construction roads of similar magnitude and complexity in Sub -Sahara Counties for the last ten (10) Years<br \/>\nShall comprise road surveys, construction of pavement structure, measuring of quantities and management of site operation.<br \/>\nSelf motivation, able to work under pressure outside working hours with minimum supervision;<br \/>\nFluent in English is mandatory;<br \/>\nAge Limit: 35 years and above.<\/p>\n<p>2.0: POSITION TITTLE: MATERIAL ENGINEER (1 POST)<\/p>\n<p>Educational\/Professional qualifications:-<br \/>\nMust have a Bachelor Degree in civil, pavement or material engineering from any recognized Higher Learning InstitUtion\/ colleges;<br \/>\nRegistered as Professional Engineer with ERB<br \/>\nA postgraduate qualification in Pavement or Materials engineering and experience in contract administration under FIDIC\/PPRA Condition of contract is an added advantage<br \/>\nA National Form IV\/VI certificate;<br \/>\nComputer literate;<br \/>\nWork Experience:<\/p>\n<p>At least 10 years of specific experience in Pavement\/Materials related to road design and construction;<br \/>\nServed in a similar Capacity on at least Two (2) project for road construction project of similar magnitude in the last ten (10) Years;<br \/>\nHe\/She must have a working experience of at least 3 years in Sub \u2013 Sahara Counties;<br \/>\nShall Head the site staff and shall be responsible for all technical and administrative aspect on site.<br \/>\nSelf motivation, able to work under pressure outside working hours with minimum supervision;<br \/>\nFluent in English is mandatory;<br \/>\nAge Limit: 35 years and above.<\/p>\n<p>3.0: POSITION TITTLE: STRUCTURE \/DRAINAGE ENGINEER (1 POST)<\/p>\n<p>Educational\/Professional qualifications:-<\/p>\n<p>Must have a Bachelor Degree in civil, bridge or structural engineering or equivalent from any recognized Higher Learning Institution\/colleges;<br \/>\nRegistered as Professional Engineer with ERB<br \/>\nA postgraduate qualification in civil engineering or highway engineering and experience in contract administration under FIDIC\/PPRA Condition of contract is an added advantage<br \/>\nA National Form IV\/VI certificate; v. Computer literate;<br \/>\nWork Experience: At least 10 years cumulative experience related to road\/ Bridge design and construction;<br \/>\nServed as a structure\/drainage Engineer for at least Two (2) road project of similar magnitude and complexity in the last ten (10) Years:<br \/>\nHe\/She must have a working experience of at least 3 years in Sub \u2013 Sahara Counties;<br \/>\nShall Head the site staff and shall be responsible for ensuring the bridges and other drainage structures are constructed according to design and conform to the contract specifications.<br \/>\nSelf motivation, able to work under pressure outside working hours with minimum supervision;<br \/>\nProficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory;<br \/>\nAge Limit: 35 years and above.<\/p>\n<p>4.0: POSITION TITTLE: TOPOGRAPHICAL\/ LAND SURVEYOR (1 POST)<\/p>\n<p>Educational\/Professional qualifications:-<\/p>\n<p>He\/She must have a advance diploma in land surveying or equivalent from any recognized Higher Learning Institution\/ colleges;<br \/>\nHe\/she must be a Registered Land surveyor<br \/>\nA National Form IV\/VI certificate;<br \/>\nComputer literate:<br \/>\nWork Experience:<\/p>\n<p>At least eight (8) experience of conducting surveying works;<br \/>\nServed as a Topographical\/Land Surveyor in at least two (2) road construction project of the similar magnitude and complexity in the last eight (8) years;<br \/>\nHe\/she must have a working experience of at least 3 year in Sub \u2013 Sahara Counties;<br \/>\nProficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory;<br \/>\nAge Limit: 30 years and above.<\/p>\n<p>5.0: POSITION TITTLE: Works Inspector- Road Works (2 POST)<\/p>\n<p>Educational\/Professional qualifications:-<\/p>\n<p>Must have a Bachelor Degree in civil engineering or equivalent from any recognized Higher Learning Institution\/colleges;<br \/>\nRegistered as Graduate\/Professional Engineer with ERB<br \/>\nA National Form IV\/VI certificate;<br \/>\nComputer literate;<br \/>\nWork Experience:<\/p>\n<p>At least 3 years cumulative experience related to road\/ Bridge design and construction;<br \/>\nServed as a Works Inspector or an equivalent Capacity on at least Three (3) years in road construction project of similar magnitude and complexity<br \/>\nSelf motivation, able to work under pressure hours with minimum Certificate in secretarial Service or equivalent from any recognized Learning Institution\/colleges;<br \/>\nA National Form IV\/VI certificate;<br \/>\nComputer literate;<br \/>\nWork
