{"id":3217,"date":"2017-11-02T07:52:00","date_gmt":"2017-11-02T04:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/?p=3217"},"modified":"2017-11-02T07:52:56","modified_gmt":"2017-11-02T04:52:56","slug":"health-and-safety-manager-jobs-at-morogoro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/health-and-safety-manager-jobs-at-morogoro\/","title":{"rendered":"Health and Safety Manager Jobs at Morogoro Abood Group ltd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Health and Safety Manage<br \/>\nLocation<\/p>\n<p>Other Morogoro District Morogoro<br \/>\nDescription<br \/>\nMwananchi 31\/10\/2017<\/p>\n<p>About Us We are transport &amp; Cargo Logistics Company based in Morogoro, Tanzania operating a large fleet of intercity buses and heavy duty Commercial Trucks and Tankers.<\/p>\n<p>The Role<br \/>\nTo implement effective H&amp;S arrangements, which includes H&amp;S risk management, and provide<br \/>\nOversee consistency of delivery of H&amp;S matters within their area of responsibility, identify and pursue significant issues.<br \/>\nEvaluate &amp; monitor H&amp;S communication to validate their effectiveness for the level of risk in their area of responsibility.<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3836292876\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities<\/b><br \/>\n\u2022 Review and develop all aspects of the company health and safety policy and activity, and ensure that it is implemented consistently across the company.<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor, evaluate and reviewing existing, new and upcoming Healthy and Safety legislation and ensure that the Company has systems and procedures in place to meet legal compliance.<br \/>\n\u2022 Work proactive with managers and other key staff to establish and maintain a programme of continuous improvement in the management of Health and Safety within their areas of responsibility, which in eludes conducting regular audits.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that rigorous risk assessment and accident management systems are in place to .enable faculty and Resource areas, including outreach centres, to undertake risk assessment processes to identify hazards and to ensure that appropriate control measures are in place.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain a central record of all risk assessments and monitor recording within workplace<br \/>\n\u2022 Discuss areas for improvement with relevant staff and\/or external bodies and agree appropriate corrective-action.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist with fire risk assessments according to an agreed schedule and in line with legal requirements.<br \/>\n\u2022 Liaise with Occupational Health Service staff on health surveillance where a risk assessment has identified a need, including carrying out stress risk assessments when required.
