\nApplications are invited from qualified and highly motivated Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies for Academic posts at the Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) as follows:<\/div>\n
1.0 ASSISTANT LECTURER (3 POSTS)
\n(i) Law X 1
\n(ii) Procurement and Supply Management X 1
\n(iii) Banking \u2013 Certified Professional Banking X 1<\/div>\n
1.1 ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN (3 POSTS)
\n(i) Information Science and Technology X 1
\n(ii) Library and Information Science X 1
\n(iii) Records and Archives Management X 1<\/div>\n
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\nI. To undergo an induction course in pedagogic skills for those who had none before;
\nII. To carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practicals, for undergraduate programmes;
\nIII. Preparing and present case studies;
\nIV. Conduct and publish \/disseminate research results:
\nV. To recognize students having difficulties, intervene and provide help and support;
\nVI. To participate in consultancies and community services under supervision;
\nVII. To attend workshops, conferences and symposia; and
\nVIII. To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the relevant authority.<\/div>\n
3.0 QUALIFICATIONS
\nMaster\u2019s Degree in a relevant field with at least a GPA of 4.0 out of 5 and a Minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5 or its equivalent in the First Degree with a Minimum score of B+ in the relevant Subject or its equivalent.<\/div>\n
4.0 REMUNERATION
\nAttractive remuneration package in accordance with the University\u2019s salary scale PUTS 2.1<\/div>\n
I. All applicants must be Citizens of United Republic of Tanzania and not above 45 years old;
