Demands for certificates showing language skills differ per education institution.<\/p>\n<h3>Priority themes per country<\/h3>\n<p>The main priority areas of the Orange Knowledge Programme are;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>sexual and reproductive health and rights<\/li>\n<li>security and rule of law<\/li>\n<li>food and nutrition security<\/li>\n<li>water management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"how-to-apply\">How to apply<\/h2>\n<p>You cannot apply online on this website. Please follow the steps below and apply through the Dutch education institution of your choice.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Check if your application falls within the OKP focus areas determined for your country.<\/li>\n<li>Check if you meet the OKP eligibility criteria.<\/li>\n<li>Find a course on the OKP course list. Please\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.studyinholland.nl\/dutch-education\/studies?scholarship=Orange+Knowledge+Programma+%28OKP%29\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">find a study, using the filter \u2018Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP)\u2019<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Ask your employer whether they are willing to nominate you for an OKP scholarship.<\/li>\n<li>Contact the Dutch education institution of your choice to receive more information about the application procedure, the academic requirements and the link to apply online.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare your application: employer statement, motivation, passport, government statement (if required).<\/li>\n<li>During an application round, submit your application online using the link you receive from the Dutch education institution. Please be aware of the application deadline of the educational institution of your choice.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"selection-procedure\">Selection procedure<\/h2>\n<p>The procedure is as follows:<\/p>\n<p>1. Candidates register with their Dutch education institution<br \/>\n2. Dutch institution nominates candidates and submits grant application<br \/>\n3. Embassies check eligibility and assess applications<br \/>\n4. Selection results available for Dutch education institutions<br \/>\n5. Grants awarded through Dutch education institutions<\/p>\n<p>Results of applications are announced 3 to 4 months after application.
