{"id":22736,"date":"2022-06-03T23:58:53","date_gmt":"2022-06-03T20:58:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/?p=22736"},"modified":"2022-06-03T23:58:53","modified_gmt":"2022-06-03T20:58:53","slug":"job-opportunities-at-vodacom-tanzania-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unistoretz.com\/magazine\/job-opportunities-at-vodacom-tanzania-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Opportunities at Vodacom Tanzania"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>CSOC Support Engineer\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Full Time<\/p>\n<p>Vodacom Tanzania Plc<\/p>\n<p><b>Role Purpose<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To act as a first line support with the configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, reporting and isolating problems for the enterprise customers.<\/li>\n<li>To provide technical support to ensure corporate customers with high service availability and reliability.<\/li>\n<li>To receive customer incidents calls from corporate clients that have solutions offered by Vodacom Plc and isolate the problem and take necessary actions for resolution<\/li>\n<li>To manage incidents, problems, capacity, configurations, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and changes for the customers that Vodacom Plc has acquired.<\/li>\n<li>To advise the customers accordingly and eloquently on their problems, and ensure that Vodacom Plc does not lose a customer because of after sale support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Key accountabilities and decision ownership<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure the service levels that we have with the corporate are met, through Service Level Management process.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the customers are always within their capacity and play advisory role as and when there is congestion through Capacity Management process.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively advise the customers in case there is availability issue through Availability Management process.<\/li>\n<li>To achieve SLA Mean Time To Resolution (MTTR), through Incident Management process<\/li>\n<li>Make sure root-cause analysis for all problems are done in a professional manner and are documented and advised to the customer through the process of Problem Management.<\/li>\n<li>Manages the network through Change Management process, and an up to date Configuration Management database for our customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Core competencies, knowledge and experience<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working experience with IT systems.<\/li>\n<li>Working experience with Data networks.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in telecommunication industry is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills translated from customers queries.<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Must have technical\/professional qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology or its equivalence.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of IP technology<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge on transmission networks.<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literacy conversant in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.<\/li>\n<li>Data entry into any database system.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of GSM and UMTS technology<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of telecommunication systems<\/li>\n<li>Certified ITIL, CISCO, Huawei or Juniper equipment, or if not should commit to be certified in at most 3 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.vodafone.com\/careers\/job?domain=vodafone.com&amp;location=Tanzania&amp;pid=563018675062046\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<hr \/>\n<p><b>Network Performance &amp;
