The group has interests across the Eastern and Southern Africa region, with operations in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan, Mozambique and Malawi.\u00a0The group offers a wide range of financial products and services in Insurance, Asset management, Banking and Property.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB TITTLE:Administrative Assistant \u2013 Driver<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Job Purpose and Key responsibilities<\/p>\n<p><b>Job purpose<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The role holder will be responsible for driving company vehicles and providing messenger services.\u00a0 The role will report to the Senior Accountant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Key responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Deliver payment transfers to the bank and\/ or other suppliers, conduct cash purchases for office expenditure<\/li>\n<li>Deliver insurance documents to intermediaries, clients and other stake holders<\/li>\n<li>Distribute mail as needed, both incoming and outgoing<\/li>\n<li>Deliver correspondences to government authorities<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate airport pick-ups for directors and other officials as needed and transportation during official visits<\/li>\n<li>Determine when and what kind of maintenance the vehicle needs, keeps track of general maintenance schedules (vehicle service)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure sound running of the vehicles assigned and arrange minor repairs where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Check oil and tires properly and keep the vehicles in clean condition, both inside and outside<\/li>\n<li>Update monthly mileage records<\/li>\n<li>Maintain log book of each vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Assist other departments in logist<a href=\"httpsss:\/\/ajiraportaltz.com\/2021\/10\/19\/driving-jobs-at-britam-insurance-tanzania-october-2021\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">i<\/a>cs as needed<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duty as may be assigned by management from time to time.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver on performance requirements as defined in the departments\u2019 strategy map, balanced scorecard and Personal Scorecard<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Key Performance Measures<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Turnaround time<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Punctuality<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Cleanliness<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Records keeping<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Working Relationships<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Internal Relationships:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accountable to the Senior Accountant<\/li>\n<li>Work with all the departments &amp;
