The company\u2019s Head offices are in Mwanza, with its drilling site is in Msalala district, Shinyanga region where the company\u2019s operations are carried out with prospects in other areas of the lake zone.<\/p>\n<p><b>Purpose: <\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Financial Controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company&#8217;s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the full financial- and management accounting function for the TZ &amp; Ghana entity.<\/li>\n<li>Operational duties include the daily financial management, budgeting, forecasting as well as working capital and cash flow management while ensuring a robust control environment and sound corporate governance.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with external parties, such as auditors, tax authorities, central banks, bankers, insurers, attorneys, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations, and statutory and group policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Manage interaction between local finance team and the shared service center.<\/li>\n<li>Manage monthly and annual reporting \u2013 both from a group- and statutory perspective.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with various departments within the company to ensure compliance and reduce any potential tax and\/or other exposures.<\/li>\n<li>Can do monthly financial reporting and monthly packs<\/li>\n<li>Can prepare monthly VAT Returns<\/li>\n<li>Can prepare year CIT returns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2021 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"9068680313\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><b>Education and Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be a qualified member of an accountancy body (NBAA) and a holder of CPA or equivalent qualifications with the necessary certifications as well as knowledge and compliance with the regulatory framework<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance Management, Accounts or any other related fields<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years of directly related experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the mining industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Other Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge and experience in financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of internal controls and designing internal control procedures<\/li>\n<li>Can work with a team of different culture backgrounds<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing to travel into Africa<\/li>\n<li>MS Office Master&#8217;s<\/li>\n<li>Diligent with an analytical mind<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>BLY Core Values :<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Health and Safety<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We keep health and safety foremost so that we all make it safe, make it personal, and make it home.<\/p>\n<p><b>Integrity<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We inspire trust by doing what is right, doing what we say we will do and being accountable for our actions.<\/p>\n<p><b>Customer Focus<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We are dedicated to our customer\u2019s success and providing innovative solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Team Work We respect each other, embrace our diversity, and value the importance of transparent and honest communications.<\/p>\n<p><b>Application Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates with the required skills stated above are highly encouraged to apply<\/li>\n<li>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted<\/li>\n<li>Only cover letter and CV are required.
