Inthis role, you will demonstrate your management skills and accounting expertise in a variety of personal and corporate accounting practices.<\/li>\n<li>Please only apply by email below with Resume, Qualifications, availability, and a cover letter demonstrating suitability for the position<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>CHARACTERISTICS<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on, self-driven and motivated<\/li>\n<li>Organised and results oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable in dealing with and tolerant of diverse cultures, languages, and environments.<\/li>\n<li>Highly numerate and accurate, with an eye for detail on numbers and analysis of financial results<\/li>\n<li>Highly ethical and integrous with the ability to be principled when necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finance reporting function for all departments, balance sheet reconciliations &amp;amp; process monthly journals, monthly management account reporting, variance analysis, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and high-level forecasts.<\/li>\n<li>Treasury management and cashflow forecasting<\/li>\n<li>Fixed asset register maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Debtors age analysis and bad debt provision of Revaluation and authorisation of all bank reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Review and approval of payment obligations (creditors)<\/li>\n<li>Maintain commercial focus through preparation &amp;amp; review of detailed budgets, forecasts and input into management decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and report variances and implement controls to reduce variances where relevant.<\/li>\n<li>Plan, direct and coordinate the responsibilities of subordinates to ensure they are performing in line with expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Manage External Audit and queries with Audit Team.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate regional annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting<\/li>\n<li>Completion and submission of relevant tax returns, including VAT, Income Tax, PAYE and Withholding Tax<\/li>\n<li>Maintain procedures for custody and control of assets and records in order to ensure safekeeping.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain relationships with internal customers and provide assistance when problems may be encountered.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly preparation of the payroll and reviewing regional payroll.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"httpsss:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- 2021 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"9068680313\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<b>QUALIFICATION &amp; EXPERIENCE<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified Chartered Accountant<\/li>\n<li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a MUST<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient with Quick Book, MS Office Packages and be able to demonstrate superior MS Excel abilitiesExperience in Res Request a plus<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work in a challenging environment.<\/li>\n<li>East African Tax &amp;amp;
